Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Crystal looks for any notches or gaps in the wall he can shift upwards through.

 

The wall seems easy enough to just climb over, only about half the size of Crystal.

 

He cautiously checks over the wall for any plants as he steps on top of the wall.

 

There's just a bit of grass, which is soft below Crystal's feet.

 

Crystal wanders around the grassy area for a bit.

 

It appears to be a small forest of trees, some of them with ripe apples, pears and oranges growing on them, as well as other fruit.

 

Crystal reaches up to grab an apple, before thinking twice and looking around for any notices or signs not to.

 

Crystal can see a young forest guardian picking a pear nearby, looking it over before biting into it happily.

 

Crystal picks an apple and happily swallows it whole. The apple travels down to where a stomach would normally be, but doesn’t change at all. Crystal then continues walking around, looking for other things, possibly beyond the garden.

 

Crystal finds a grove of mushrooms as the forest begins to thin a little, many different shapes, sizes, colours and growths all around. A sorcerer appears to be closely observing some of the mushrooms, a basket in hand with a few of them picked.

 

Crystal keeps walking, occasionally looking at some mushrooms, and careful not to step on any.

 

"No, I was a detective. Busted eight gangs in two weeks. Quit because I wanted to." Alice says. "I would love to keep my kill count at zero."

He nods, still squirming.

 

Crystal notices a pair of faeries chatting whilst sitting on some of the larger mushrooms, quite happy.

"Rare to find a pacifist Shadow." Vexa says, surprised.

 

Crystal looks like he’s about to approach before deciding it’s a bad idea and inspecting some of the mushrooms around him instead.

 

Crystal appears to be standing in a patch of yellow mushrooms with white spots, quite short with large caps.

 

Crystal crouches down, poking one, then stroking its cap.

 

The mushroom releases spores which feel like small jolts electricity when they touch Crystal. The cap feels rough and spiky.

 

Crystal shifts uncomfortably before looking around to see where he is.

 

He's still in the mushroom grove, one of the faeries looking away once he glances at them.

 

He chuckles a bit, then starts heading back the way he came.
