Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

The golems start smashing at their feet, trying to free themselves.

 

Artemis sees Abigail's eyes.

The man seems cross, taking a few notes in a record.
"What are you good at?"

 

"She's more than a single being." Artemis' father comments.

"Why do you have Abigail's eyes?" Artemis asks nervously.

 

Just smashing the ground doesn’t do much more than pact the ground a bit more as Crystal walks around one of them, forming a large ball with his hands and smashing one in the back with it.

 

"...Because I saved the other half of Abigail's soul. I want your help because I took the blow meant for her, and now I only have half of my soul."

 

"Uh... that's a good question. I can wash the dishes."
He scratches the back of his head.

 

He sighs.
"...I'll have you help haul in tomorrow's kitchen delivery."
He hands you a room key.
"Right hall. 117."

 

The golem is destroyed completely, bits of it rolling across the ground.

"So...you need help getting back your soul half?" Artemis asks.

 

"Yeah... since I was hoping you wouldn't just kill me and harvest the half of Abigail's soul." Ruby admits, nervous.

 

"Harvesting an external soul from a dead host is tricky business." Artemis' father comments.

 

Crystal walks over to the other, doing the same thing.

 

"So... would you help convince your other friends to help me? Particularly Katie? Abigail wants a hug from her."

 

It proves to be quite effective, the golems immobilized and unable to hit Crystal as he's able to kill them.

"I'll try my best." Artemis says.

 

Crystal shifts his hands back into hands, looking around for anything else.

 

"...Do you mind hugging me? Abigail can feel what I feel." Ruby asks, though clearly embarrassed.

 

A large metal golem emerges from the ground, beating it's fists together as it faces Crystal.

Artemis seems hesitant, before looking at her father and walking over to Ruby to hug her.

 

Crystal psyches himself up, waiting for the golem to make a move.

 

Ruby makes sure Abigail has full sensory before hugging Artemis.

 

The metal golem tries slamming both it's fists down on Crystal.

Artemis hugs for a while, before pulling away.

 

Ruby steps back quickly as well.
"...I'm so sorry about that."

"I hope that was worth it because I feel really awkward." She thinks.
