Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Crystal slinks up the stairs, watching.

 

"Did uh..." The guard says, before lowering the volume of his voice, "Did they take pity on her?"

Shadow Stephanie seems to have set up a game about a humanoid blue hedgehog with the ability to run extremely fast.

 

Crystal watches, moving over near Shadow Stephanie.

 

"Lady Tenebrae? Yeah! Hugs and all!"
Ihra's starting to take up a sizeable amount of space with her vines, eyes practically glowing green.

 

Shadow Stephanie offers Crystal the controller, smiling.

"I see, and did she give you some soft toys to play with too?" The guard says, as if speaking to a young child.

 

"That seems strange, but I suppose that whatever works, works." Rema shrugs.
"...Anyhow, do you want to spend the day here, or do you want to explore?"

 

He takes it, looking it over.
“Uhh...”

 

"No. It made me feel really happy for not trying to fight back, though." Ihra says happily.

"You... may want to be careful how not-seriously you take her. That staff's got the power to create an entire reality, and it only works in her hands." Sapphire warns the guard telepathically. "She hasn't wrecked anything yet, but I would advise against seeing her as a toddler."
Pause.
"...She'll probably just tell you that she's about twenty thousand years old, actually."

 

"Just use that stick to move, and that button to jump." Shadow Stephanie says, pointing to a thumbstick and a green 'x' button.

"Well you're a very good girl for not hurting anyone!" The guard says happily.

"I think the age may have effected her." The guard responds.

 

"I'm heading of to the village."
He looks around.
"Which way is the door?"

 

He shifts around the stick, moving it in a circle and whatching the character move before pressing the ‘x’ a few times.
After a bit of toying around, he makes the character head off to the right.

 

"I mean, she is still young. Probably has a good eighty thousand left in her if she doesn't get cut down in battle."


"I try not to, not even accidentally! Though, it's really hard not to try and kill something that's trying to kill something else." Ihra says happily, flicking her staff into an axe and back.

Rema slithers over to the portal, wrapping around it as it opens.
"Here, this'll take you to the city gate. Pretty sure your future wife went off in that direction, anyways."

 

Pressing 'x' makes the character jump, and walking to the right Crystal discovers his first, albeit slow moving, enemy.

"I'm sure there's a peaceful way of dealing with everything." The guard says happily.

 

He jumps over the enemy, passing it all together.

 

"Not quite everything, but I wish there was." Ihra sighs.


"Also, you don't mind hauling a girl who weighs as much as a dragon, do you? She's narcoleptic." Sapphire asks.

 

The character starts gaining speed, and crystal runs into some gold rings that disappear with a chime, adding to a counter.

"I don't." The guard responds.

 

Crystal keeps going, smiling at Shadow Stephanie.

 

Ihra yawns, the vines starting to grow faster before they suddenly all wither and disintegrate.


"Well, on the bright side, she needed the rest anyways. Do you mind keeping her here for however long she winds up sleeping? We do kind of need her on the front lines."

 

Shadow Stephanie gives a thumbs up as Crystal encounters more enemies.

"Certainly." The guard responds, trying to pick Ihra up.

 

It takes most of his strength, Ihra sitting up before yawning again.
