Three hundred yards and closing...

She puts her tail into the pit, waiting until it catches before sitting down a few paces away.

"Thanks. Hopefully this will get a quick buyer." Vexa says, hanging the blade up on display before heading to the staircase.

 

Voidfiller tries making thick earthen walls between the two groups.

He’s a bit of a ways away, flying.

 

Ruby follows, telekinetically closing the door.

The Hive group bashes through it effortlessly, unhindered by the spores that still slightly numb Voidfiller.

 

Voidfiller makes a portal in front of the normal draconians, trying to help.
It’s kind of unclear as to where it goes, but it’s a pretty clear place...

 

I wave my hand, motioning for voidfiller to hurry up.

Vexa heads up to the second floor of her shop, walking toward a bedroom with a window looking out across the mountains with a simple bed.

 

Concentrated on something else on the ground, he doesn’t notice.

 

They glance at each other, trusting Voidfiller as they run through.

"This the guest room?"

 

I sigh, dipping back through the portal and closing it.

"We can go back for him later." I say to Rineth, before collapsing on the ground next to Stephanie and Artemis, Katie trying to create a sled of sorts to push Artemis, Stephanie and I toward the Shadow Palace from the city.

 

It’s pretty narrow, it might take a bit to get the group trough depending on how many there are.
Voidfiller tries picking the earth up a little bit in front of the other group to trip them.

 

"Yeah, feel free to customize it to how you want. Sorry it's not too flashy, but most of my earnings are spent on more materials." Vexa apologises.

 

"A room is more than I've ever had for a home."

A few dozen.
A hundred yards by the time arrows start flying.

Rineth carries the rest, Linoa linking to Sapphire who heads to the Realm of Light.

 

Voidfiller focuses on dodging the arrows, leaving the portal open and waiting for all of the draconians in the first group to get through.

 

"That's...sad to hear." Vexa says, before giving Ruby a hug.


Katie pushes her unconscious friends up to the Shadow Palace.


The guards in the Realm of Light smile at Sapphire.

 

All but one gets through, the last one turned into a pincushion.

Ruby smiles.
"It means a lot to have someone who I feel I can call a friend.


Rineth helps Katie push.


"...Eighteen mortally wounded faeries. You said you'd be open to care for them?" She asks.

 

Voidfiller leaves the pincushion behind, closing the portal and diving down into his own, to the place where he sent the other draconians.
Everyone ends up in a weird light-blue area, where an abandoned machine and wooden cottage are visible before Voidfiller flies in from the sky.

 

"So, where are the rabbits?" He says while looking around, searching for them.

 

"I'm glad I can have a legendary blacksmith for a friend too." Vexa says happily.


Katie smiles at Rineth, before collapsing at the gates, guards quickly rushing over to her and the other unconscious on her sled and picking them up, taking them into the palace hastily.


"Oh, of course. Bring them here immediately." The guard says, his partner blowing a whistle to signal the other guards.

 

Weary, their commander looks up.
"...Did we just walk into a prison?"

Three foxes bring the three rabbits in.

Ruby smiles.
"I think I'll do just fine away from that hellish war."


Rineth pauses at the gate.
"Can you handle these patients, or no?"


Sapphire nods, Linoa carrying armfuls od unconscious fae through an intermediary portal.

 

Vexa smiles back, before heading to her own room.


"We should be able to." The guard says.


The guards quickly rush over and take the faeries, hurrying them into the palace.
