Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Abigail looks at Rineth, "Frick, where's that alcohol when I actually need it." Abigail says fearfully, backing away.

I focus, and a bottle of whisky falls into Abigail's hands.

Abigail downs the bottle, "Look man, it's Katie you want beef with. I ain't going to torch nobody." Abigail says, continuing to back away.

Stephanie pets Sgavrinn lightly, summoning a potion in her hand.

"When you're done being incredibly drunk, I have the cure." Stephanie says, holding up the potion; it glistens light blue in the sunlight.

"Pssh, I'm nut drrrenk yyyyet!" Abigail says, the alcohol beginning to affect her.

 

"I don't want problems with anyone, but I was assigned to guard Ihra, and by oathbinding I must."

Roots can be seen growing from Ihra's claws.

 

"Im gun go makeee out...UP! with waterrrr Katieeeeee..." Abigail says drunkenly, stumbling to the iced over pool.

"Waaaaatttteeerrrrrr wenccccchhhhh, oopeennn uppp!" Abigail says, falling onto the ice.

"She's drank far too much, hasn't she?" Stephanie says, turning to me.

"Yup." I respond.

Artemis observes the roots growing from Ihra's claws.

"Whoaaaaaaa, whosh dis prettyyy gurl..." Abigail says, staring at her reflection in the ice.

 

"All due respect, I think it may be more practical to break the bottle over her head than let her drink the contents." Rineth mumbles, looking at Abigail worriedly.

 

Abigail starts kissing the ice, "Yerrrrr pretttyyyy" She says drunkenly.

"You don't want whisky in your hair; anything but water in your hair for that matter. Getting stuff in your hair isn't nice." I say.

"Maybe I should give her the potion now..." Stephanie says, looking at Abigail.

"Nah, let's see what happens." I say, grinning.

"I think you should give her the potion before she discovers pyrotechnics." Artemis says, concerned.

 

"Give her the potion before she realizes alcohol is super flammable."

Ihra stirs.

 

Stephanie walks over to Abigail, "Drink this, Abigail." She says, uncorking the potion.

"Whiiiichhh Beeetccch! Have youuuu mettt my neeww frend? Sheeee's, uhh, I forgott her nameee..." Abigail says drunkenly.

Stephanie forces Abigail to drink the potion, and Abigail seems to come back to her senses.

"Sweet freaking baby jesus christ on a motorbike what the hell just happened." Abigail says, holding her head in her hands in pain.

"You downed a bottle of whisky." Stephanie says.

"Why does my head hurt then!?" Abigail says, grabbing her hair.

Stephanie shows Abigail the empty phial.

"I should quit drinking..."Abigail says, clearly in pain.

 

"Please..." Ihra groans, trying to get out of the vines.
"What happened... What did Katie do to me...?"

 

Artemis unwraps the vines around Ihra, "She completely froze you, including your blood." Artemis says.

"You went all crazy and stuff." I add.

 

The vine crumbles to ashes. Several water spears charge towards you.

 

I yank the tree back, in front of me, then quickly turn around, blocking the spears with the tree.

 

"Everything went black, then next thing I know, Katie was freezing me..."
She looks behind her.
"Where are my mother's tomes?"

 

I remain silent, but I summon several fireballs. I throw them all at once, causing a flurry of fireballs to charge at you.

 

"Ughrrr, here..." Abigail says, holding her head with her left hand and cutting a hole in the ice with her right, using her claws.

Abigail takes out a large chunk of ice and fishes out the tomes, floating just below the ice.

 

I manage to turn the tree around enough so it hits most of the fireballs.
The ones that doesn't hit the tree, I dodge.
I re-grab the tree by the roots and take a large swing at you.

 

I grin, before descending back into the ground.

"What is this? Ice fishing?" Echoes a flower.

 

"Maybe don't drink so much poison next time. Thanks."

The tomes don't seem to be wet. Once they're out of the water, they levitate behind Ihra.

 

"Here we go again."
I say, flying into the air.
I hold onto the tree by the roots and put it above my head.
Still holding onto the tree by the roots, I start flying and doing flips.
Once I get to a very fast speed, I start coming down.
The tree hits the ground where you were, creating a small crater and shaking the ground a bit.
"Are you gonna come out now?"
I fly into the air, tree still in hands.

 

I sprout from the ground, looking slightly dazed a few feet away I shake my head, and summon a fireball, launching it towards you at a fast rate, before descending back into the ground.

 

Abigail hands Ihra a note too, which reads:
"Dear Ihra,

I realise that the method of interrogation may have been a little too intimidating and frightening, and I'd like to apologise for what I did. I didn't mean to scare you into your crazed state, I was simply concerened about the actions of Rineth and wanted answers. I am deeply sorry for what I did, I hope you can accept this apology. I regret what I've done, and I don't want to tarnish our friendship; even though I feel as if I've betrayed you.

"My frikkin head..." Abigail complains, slicing some of the ice up and putting it on her forehead.

"What's the note say?" I ask, sidling over to Ihra.
