Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"I've been other creatures before." Artemis says.


"Ok." Abigail says, carefully taking the gauntlet half back over to the claw pieces, picking up the lower half cast.

 

"Being human is lame."


Ruby goes along with it.

 

"Yeah..." Artemis says, agreeing.


Abigail pours the crystal into the cast again, cooling it off in the icy pool before putting in a new cast for the finger pieces.

 

"Have you ever been a dragon?"


Ruby lets her keep going, checking to see how much molten crystal is left.

 

"A couple of times." Artemis says.


It looks like there's not much left, another ingot could help.

 

"Yeah. I mean, people say that dragons life in our forests. And seeing as no one ever returned, I take it they are pretty strong."

 

"...What happened then?"


Ruby uses her staff to telekinetically move another ingot into the smelter.

"Yeah... true. That's a bit ugly. Have you spoken to the Guardian of the Skies about it?"

 

"I can't really remember much. It just sort of happened until I woke up." Artemis admits.


The ingot falls in, melting down as Abigail creates a lot of small finger segments from the cast.

 

"Oh... did you ever fly?"


Ruby checks the amount of liquid crystal again.

 

"I think so, but I can fly with Aj anytime." Artemis says happily, her mood changing.


The liquid crystal appears to have increased by quite a lot.

 

"True." Ihra sighs.


Ruby waits.
"...Do I have a moment to glance behind me?"

 

"Are you still feeling stressed?" Artemis asks.


Abigail lets Ruby glance behind her.

 

"Even more so."


Ruby checks to see if Vexa walked back in, a bit concerned.

 

"Maybe we could get a massage or something? Or maybe go swimming?" Artemis suggests.


Vexa isn't present, luckily.

 

"The Ziz? No, not yet."

 

"Massage?"


Ruby turns back around.
"Let's finish up, assemble it, and see if the boss is happy with it."

"She might be the cause of those problems."

 

"Is she really that annoying? I heard Siln talk about her."

 

"Yeah, they always help me calm down." Artemis says happily.


"Alright." Abigail says, turning toward the chest full of ingots.

 

"She's not annoying, just angry. Something's not right with her."

"Then let's go for that."


Ruby slows her.
"What else do we need? I just refilled the crystal."

 

Artemis smiles, heading out of the forest guardian's area and through the palace.


"A different material to seal it." Abigail says.
