"To ask for assistance with the deceased gods?" Temporus asks.


"You stole her? You sick monst-" Shadow Stephanie says, before being cut off.


Shadow Stephanie seems shocked for a moment, before hugging back.

"Abigail, if you can hear me, know that we all miss you, and we'll try our best to get you back." Shadow Stephanie whispers.

 

"Just some simple cloth for me than, miss."

 

"Oh good, saves me a bit of trouble. Well... how do you feel about the matter?"


"If I didn't steal her, she was going to the Hive Master." Ruby sighs.


"...You can hear her, right?"

"Alright. You like a black suit, or midnight blue? Some people like a little bit of color, I guess."

 

"Midnight blue, please. I love the midnight."

 

"Tenebrae is possible, since I don't believe she actually meant much harm. Lux, however, seems far too dangerous. He'd probably just try to kill Xlentia again." Temporus says.


Shadow Stephanie sighs.


"Yes...I miss her." Abigail says, sad.

 

"Color it is."
More notes.
"Well, that should be it. Come back in a week, and I'll have those ready for you two."

 

"Jeez, a whole week?"
*sigh*
"I guess."

 

"Good, because I only considered bringing Tenebrae back."


"So... do you think you could help me find a smithing job on Earth?"


"She's our ticket back to the way things are. I just... might need your help along the way."

"I could cut it down to three days, but there are other orders, you know." She sighs.

 

"Eh, don't worry about it. I'll probably find a way to pass the time." He chuckles.
"See you in a week then?"

 

"I'll get to it then," Temporus says, before pausing, "Done."


"What sort of smithing job? Weaponsmith? Armourer? Jewler? Tough job with high demand? Casual job?" Shadow Stephanie asks.


"I...can't remember how things were. I don't really remember what I look like." Abigail admits.

 

"Sure." The gorgon says, glancing at you before heading off into a back room.

"...Being turned to stone hurt less than I thought." Anne comments.

"Where can I find her?"


"Weaponsmith, just like old times... I wouldn't mind working on armor as well."


"You might not right now, but you will."

 

"The Realm of Shadows." Temporus says.


"Do you want a high stress busy job where you'll be working for an army to pump out weapons, or a more casual job to fill requests citizens have? What sort of weapons do you want to create, or do you not care?" Shadow Stephanie asks.


"Can we look for someone called Katie some time? I remember she's very special to me for some reason." Abigail asks, though sounding submissive.

 

"Thank you... do you want me to return this bracelet to the bouncer as I leave?"


"I'm willing to work for an army, but you know me. I like taking things at my own pace."


"Absolutely, just... not right away. I need to build up a level of trust with these people, then we can go on a reunion tour."

 

Temporus shrugs.


"It's your choice of job." Shadow Stephanie says.


"Oh, ok." Abigail says.

 

"I'll leave it with him. Thank you, by the way." Virei'tus says, turning to leave.


"Maybe working for a smaller group? I don't know if I want to supply a mass murder."


"Also, forgive me, but letting you see through me is tiring. I'm going to need to let you go dormant again soon."

 

"No problem. You're welcome to drop by again if you wish." Temporus says.


"How does working with Earth and Fire guardians to create or repair weapons and tools sound?" Shadow Stephanie proposes.


"I-It's dark and scary though..." Abigail says, scared.

 

"I may, given free time." He says, heading for the door.


"Sounds good." Ruby nods.


"You'll still have me. Just try and reach out to me if it gets too bad."

 

Temporus snickers a bit, amused.


"I'll go and arrange that for you, then." Shadow Stephanie says, walking past Ruby and heading toward the exit of the throne room.


"I-I'll try." Abigail says, though still scared.

 

"Oh good, you did appreciate that..."


"Where do you want me to wait?" Ruby asks.


"You'll be okay... I promise."

 

Temporus smiles.


"Uh, just stay here." Shadow Stephanie says.
