Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Rema shakes her head.
"Don't trust me if that's what you wish. However, don't expect my help if you're going to simply cast me aside."

 

"It is not that I don't trust you. You probably know what you're talking about. I heard about the contracts and stuff and I rather not have that."

 

"Oh, come on... I'll give you my advice if you give me your trust." Rema says.
"Be wary, mister Bardock..."

 

"I'd rather not. I'll find a way to lift the curse without your contracts."
He smiles.

 

“How many things can you freeze at once?”
I ask Zeri, less tense.

 

"As offended as I am, I respect your decision." Rema says, slinking off.

"Well... shall we get started, or do you believe you don't need our help?"

 

"I welcome all help, as long as it doesn't involve evil."

 

"Well... we have told you that you're cursed by a demon. What do you wish to do with that knowledge?"

 

"Finding the demon sounds most logical."

 

"Well... hate to break it to you, but Rema's the demonologist."

 

"Should've told me that before I turned her down, don't you think?"
*sigh*

 

"I still don't think she can be trusted, but if you have changed your mind about speaking to her, I can bring her back here. There are always alternatives."

 

"I have no idea how I could even find a demon. I'm not really the greatest with magic, you know."
*sigh*
"Maybe we'll have to call her back..?"

 

"I mean... you could always visit the underworld. It has a fair amount of demons... hell is full of them, too. I may be able to open a portal to one of those realms, if you wish."

 

"He is quite powerful..." Zeri says, a little scared.

"Oh, most things around me, I'm only really limited by range. If Lux comes, I'm meant to freeze him or slow him down." Zeri explains.

 

"Ah. Good to know."

 

"I should be able to protect you." Ihra says.

 

Zeri smiles at you, hovering at your head height.

There's a loud bark, before a completely white german shepherd warps next to Ihra, wagging it's tail. Onyx hisses at the teleporting dog, backing away.

The dog licks Ihra happily, though Ihra notices it doesn't appear to have any sort of eyes.

 

I smile as well, making eye(ish) contact.

 

She pets it, clearly distracted.
