Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"You know how everything works then? Or.."
He continues following.

 

"No, just... the mountain community has a fairly simple layout. There's a group of peaks in the center, and the dragons keep most things there. Then, their homes surround it so it's really easy to defend valuables or secrets."

 

"Oh, I get. But wouldn't they attack us if we get close too the center then?"

 

"If we're trying to be sneaky, yes. All we need to do is tell the guards why we're there, and they'll probably bring us wherever these sorcerers are."

 

Queen of hearts.
I look at her expectantly.

 

"Went over."

 

"Yeah. We're not here to steal anything, so we should be save."

 

"As long as we're honest, we should be just fine." Anne says, slowing down a bit.
"I... think we're fairly close. Just, like, no sudden movements and we should be fine. Like we're just going for a morning stroll."

 

I put my cards down to the side.
“Well, that’s how the game goes. If you don’t like it, there’s most likely something else to do.”

 

Ihra shrugs.
"I mean, we're mostly just stuck here until the tension dies down a bit. Why not deal another hand?"

 

"Sure."
He carefully follows Anne.

 

Onyx looks at you curiously, tail waving idly.

Onyx purrs, reaching her head up to be pet.

 

Ihra scratches behind her ears, smiling.

A minute or so later, three dragons fly down straight at you and Anne.
"Halt! Why do you pass through here?"
Anne glances at you.
"You want to tell them your situation, or should I handle it?"

 

“Sure.”
I deal another one, and Ihra gets a seven, I get a two.

I just smile back.

 

Ihra looks at her other card.

 

Six.

 

"Hit, I guess."

 

"I..uh. I came here for help. I search for those called: 'sorcerers'."
He looks nervous at the dragons and Anne.

 

They glance at each other.
"Do you know how to get to them, mister Bardock?"
Anne smiles at you, remaining silent.

 

Onyx purrs more, rubbing up against Ihra's legs.

Onyx seems a little pre-occupied with being pet by Ihra.
