He's a bit startled, but nuzzles Gaia's finger and hums afterwards.
"I mean... I appreciate it, I really do, but Caelia had a point. You do have to worry about your people first... that seems to be the only thing I knew how to do."

 

"She did, but I can't just stand by while beings suffer unjustly, whether they're in my own reality or yours. You came to us and asked for help with valid reasons, and so, we gave you help," Gaia says happily, "It's very noble of you to put the lives of so many before your own."

 

"I seem to have much better luck at not getting hit by weapons compared to many others. I figure that if I'm the only one that can stand up, then I should."

 

"I think both our worlds could use more people like you," Gaia says happily, "It's such a shame to see so many people consumed by power, using it for their own goals rather than what is right."

 

She smiles, then hesitates.
"I only ever wonder... how do we know if what we call right... is right?"

 

"We can never truly know, for every action has a consequence. We must simply follow our hearts, and evaluate our actions." Gaia says.

 

Ihra smiles, standing up and walking over to Gaia.
"...One more hug before I go? I didn't miss the front lines, but... it's hardly my choice."

 

Gaia gives Ihra a warm, comforting hug; like that of a caring mother's.

 

Ihra hugs her back.
"...I'll do my best to have you meet my reality's Gaia... I'm sure she'd love to meet you too."

 

"You do not need to, but I'd appreciate it if you would." Gaia says happily.

I walk into the training room, looking around for anyone.

 

"It is where I hope to bring my friends next. Her forests burn, her faeries return to the earth, and her sense of self is dwindling. I do not wish to give the Hive Master the advantages of three gods under his control again."

Just Linoa, who's trying to get Muffy to do something... cooperate, probably.

 

I walk up to her.
"Hey."

 

"T-That sounds horrific." Gaia says, shocked, her eyes and hair fading to blue.

 

"That is what my reality is. That is why I want your help. All of you, not just one. That is why I need to do things myself, why I must bring myself into situations where all my efforts could be for naught. Because I am the one who slips between his fingers, and therefore I must be the one to make him crumble." She says, determined. "Xlentia's people were brought to ruin, forgotten by even her. Virei'tus' justice was smothered, and his beacon of light could not reach those who needed it. I cannot settle down and make myself a home where every world burns around me."

 

"I wish I could give you a gift of some kind to assist you on your trying tasks ahead, though I don't believe I have much on me that could be of use to you." Gaia says.

 

Ihra hesitates.
"...A vow to watch over my friends and the refugees who seek shelter here would be beyond enough."

"Huh? Oh, hey Thirteen. Do you mind holding Muffy down?"
Muffy's soaking wet and looks pissed.

 

“I can try.”
I say, getting a grip on Muffy and holding her down.

 

She squirms, hissing at you.
You're whipped by her tail, but you mostly have a grip on her.
"Alright, that's better. You ready, girl?"
Muffy replies with a howl.

 

“What’s going to happen, here?”
I don’t seem to mind her whipping.
