Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

He grabs the weapon.
"Thanks."
He turns back around and starts cutting the deer.
(Got confused, thought the weapon was far away from me and didn't know it was infront of me.)

 

It cuts cleanly and easily, the carcass seemingly already bled out.

 

"Probably the phoenix' work. Clean clothes." He thinks to himself.
He continues cutting in the deer and cuts of some body parts.

 

You now have a dead, delimbed deer, already gutted.

 

"I'll have a leg."
He grabs one of the legs and starts eating.
"Anyohne whant a pwiece?" He says with his mouth full.

 

Nobody else is nearby.

 

He looks around for the others, inviting them to join him.
"Chome get shome thoo!"

 

They left you alone at the cave.

 

He swallows the meat.
"Where did you guys go?"
He gets up and looks around in and outside the cave.

 

They're heading towards the phoenix down the path.

 

"Wait up!"
He grabs one of the deer legs.
"Should I clean this? For the vampire."
He carries most of the meat outside and drops it somewhere away from the cave.
Then he follows the group, taking one of the deer legs with him.

 

"He's the one who cleaned it for you!"

 

He looks around, confused.
"I'm confused. Who cleaned what?"

 

"The vampire cleaned the carcass for you!"

 

"I thought the phoenix did that. But then again, I don't know how she would do that."
Pause.
"Anyway. I cleaned the cave from the meat, I got some myself and am ready to go."

 

"We'll swing by and pick you up in a minute!" Ren calls back.

 

"Sure thing. I'll just.. eat some more."
He waves.
"See you in a bit."

 

You're left to eat, your surroundings quiet, except for a gentle breeze.

 

"I wonder how Sgavrinn is doing after tonight's event. Maybe I should take a short nap?"
He lays down

 

The phoenix flies over as you lay down.

Bad timing, I guess?
