Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

The phoenix looks at you, flattered.
"Heh, that's one way to get on her good side." Ren laughs. "Well, I figure you didn't really climb a volcano to just say you climbed it. What brings you here?"

 

"Well, I heard about the phoenix being an elemental guardian. I wanted to take a look."

 

She lowers her head to the ground.
"Yeah, she is. I'd assume that a giant bird that's on fire is fairly self-explanatory, though."

 

"I've never seen one, so for me it's a big deal."

 

"Fair enough...
...want to pet her?"
The phoenix lowers her blazing head to the cave.

 

"Y e s" Amethyst feels.

 

"Absolutely."
He reaches out for the phoenix' head.

 

"

The flames around her head feel cold, for flames. They don't singe you, and they make your hand feel comfortably warm and no more. Her plumage is soft and thick.

"Can I go talk to the apex"

 

"Y o u c a n" Amethyst feels, the person guiding her.

 

She stumbles a bit, otherwise keeping up.

 

After walking for a while, Amethyst feels more words being written on her.

"W e ' r e h e r e" Amethyst feels.

 

Amethyst slaps her tail on the ground, trying to get a feel for the room she's in.

 

"Feels nice."
He continues to pet the phoenix.
"Reminds me of home. Warm and comfy."

 

The room feels extremely large, with two large objects at the far end of it. Amethyst can feel vibrations in the air from something rather loud and booming.

 

She turns her head to the side.
"Want to take a ride on her back tonight?"

She turns towards the two large objects.
"Hi"

 

There's a brief pause.

"T h e y s a y" "H e l l o A m e t h y s t"

 

"How do they know my name?"

 

There's another pause.

"A f r i e n d o f y o u r s c a l l e d S a p p h i r e t o l d u s" "S h e g a v e y o u t o u s t o l o o k a f t e r y o u"

 

Pause.
"Sister didnt forget about me
I thought they all left me
Can I hug someone"

 

Amethyst feels a warm embrace.
