Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Oh, he's an effigy of sorts. He can be used to mentally degrade opponents, though he's not active; so he's not harmful." Stephanie says happily.

"You are weak. Give up." the idol whipsers to Ihra...?

 

"Wait a second..." I just remember something strange about the place, but can't quite put my finger on it.

 

"What do you mean not active?"
She pokes it with her staff.

"Hey, Aforl? Why is the water moving?"

 

"He's just an idol; he can't do anything. Why, is he too creepy for you?" Stephanie asks.

The idol springs to life, disarming Ihra and snapping the staff in two, before leaping on her and ripping off her head.

But it was just a vision...?

 

Her passing out suggests 'yes.'

 

After seing there are Multiple maps, i would like to live in the Gakmot mountains, more in the center, in emerladonia i believe. If that works, sweet, if not, then the Bageute(Thats what im calling it) Plains in the norther area of the Emeraldonia.

 

"Is she alright?" Stephanie asks with concern.

Stephanie de-summons the idol, replacing it with another one; covered in flowery vines. Unlike the tortured expression of the previous one, this one has an expression of joy.

Stephanie raises her hands to the idol, and a purple glow surrounds it momentarily. It begins to whistle a soothing song.

"Let's hope this lightens the mood." Stephanie says.

"You're amazing and awesome!" It whispers to Rineth in a happy tone.

"You're the best person ever!" It whispers to Ihra (even though she's unconscious) in a happy tone.

"Everyone is so proud of you!" It whispers to Xephyr in a happy tone.

 

That works.

"That's not helping..." Rineth mumbles, putting Ihra on his back.

 

Stephanie de-activates and de-summons the idol.

"Um...I'll just be over here..." Stephanie says, walking a short distance away and sitting down, summoning a phial and a few plants.

Artemis walks over to me and clicks her fingers; I wake up immediately.

"Huh? What did I miss?" I say, confused.

"You feeling 'Normal' now?" Artemis asks, slightly concerned.

"I feel as if I fit most of the rules expected to be followed by social standards." I reply, getting up.

"Good, you're back to your usual self." Artemis says, smiling.

 

Rineth pokes Ihra's back with his tail, jolting awake.
"Is it gone?"
"Yes."

 

A small stone golem runs past, gathering small twigs and such. It then runs back to Stephanie, depositing the sticks in front of her.

Stephanie hands the phial to a small crystal golem, who holds the phial in both hands over the pile of twigs. Stephanie places the plants inside, then smashes a blue crystal, filling the phial with water. The twigs suddenly explode into a bright flame.

"Hey, Rineth, what happened whilst I was out?" I say, rubbing my head as I walk over to Rineth and Ihra.

 

"You were skateboarding, then my tail happened."

 

"Oh...right, yeah I sort of remember that," I say, "But, erm, what was the 'It' that was gone?"

Stephanie's potion bubbles, and the liquid within turns to a bright yellow. The crystal golem holds onto the phial tightly, never shifting it's grip.

 

The Dread Dragon starts drooling a thick black liquid on one Tirai.
The sword-mace creature suddenly spins trying to slam the sword end at another Tirai.

So you want a plains area? Well... most of the Darklands is a plains area. Brisingr has 'plains' but they are more volcanic (I think, ask the other god). Then Emeraldonia has plains, but Exvhius says that things shouldn't be based around that kingdom because the person who created it is inactive. Aurilon might have icy plains, not sure though. Finally, I think Gargantuan may have plains, not sure though.

(Exvhius, just out of interest, who actually made Gargantuan? I don't remember anywhere saying who created it.)s

 

"An idol."
Ihra looks at the golem, partially in terror.

The three take the attack.
A hammer to the back sends the Dread Dragon to the ground.

"Still boring. Still weak."
Energy is slowly siphoned from the robot.

"Oh... Ehm... How'd you die?" They ask Vei in unison.

"I swear to gods I will kill you guys."

"You're the one copying us."

"Rrrr..." Khione flickers between dragon and wolf form.

"Really? That sounds a lot like my former rider. Odd."

 

"What are you doing? You do realize that's s normal tree...right?" I ask, slightly confused. Several more water spears form and charge towards you.

 

"I'm surprised there isn't a more obvious civil war."

"Aj was playing with a toy he shouldn't have been playing with. He created a paradox, and I sacrificed myself to save him, on the count he wouldn't use it again. Liar already hs used it a few times since..."

"I thought your rider was hunting specific dragons for their souls to sell, not to break into a forest. Also, your rider didn't use a hammer, did he?"

 

I maneuver around the spears.
"Completely and utterly. Nothing particular about the tree."
I say, affirmatively.
Still maneuvering around the spears, I take another swing at the tree, in the same place.

 

I start to look thoroughly confused and suspicious. A vine sprouts behind you and grabs you by the stomach, holding you. Several water spears form around you.
