Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

I take out my tome and start chanting, "Ebsloft! Swifumb zipstfog!" (Darkness! Reveal yourself!)

 

Ihra looks at you funnily with tired eyes.
"Is there..." *yawn* "...someone behind me?"
She slowly turns around.

 

"Not sure... a dark spot formed around your shield."

 

"That was me. Mom said it was the only way I knew how to use her gift. I don't even know what the gift is."

 

"Oh, ok."
I put away my tome and continue guarding Ihra.

 

She sits down, blankly staring towards Brisingr.
"I wonder if Nyre came yet. I hope not..."

 

"Nyre's another draconian?"

 

"Yes, he's with Feiha. He's a big liar and loves his tricks, but I always worry he's right behind me."

 

"Does Feiha lead the draconians which are against you? And are there only two 'factions', if you can call them that?"

 

"Feiha isn't their leader, she's their weak link. Also, what's a faction?"
A forced telepathic connection disorients you slightly.
"By human comparison, she's essentially seven. Either be prepared to explain everything or dumb down the word choice." Vei seems slightly distracted.

 

I decide to approach them.

 

"Ihra, huh? That your only friend?"

 

Ihra turns to you.
"Hi, goddess!" she says cheerily.

"No, but she's... don't scare her." I start walking ahead a bit.

 

"I'll try my best." I say as I start following Vesius.

 

"... Greetings." I hesitate. "Going somewhere?"

 

It doesn't take long for you to recognize the direction you're heading.
Straight into No Man's Land might not be the best idea, but it's the direction you find yourself walking.
"I don't know your name. Mind answering that question?" I mutter.

"I wanted to go watch normal dragons later. Something wrong?" Her mentality switched from happy to concerned almost instantaneously.

 

It might not be, but I can handle it, I think.

"Just... call me Thirteen." I wince, thinking about how I got that name.

 

"I... uh... okay. Um... Isn't that a... nevermind." I glance at you as you wince, holding back words as I continue forward.

 

"Well, you see..." My eyes go a bit fiery. "There's a hostile draconian by the name of Nyre trespassing on my lands."

 

"It is a number." I answer, predicting his unstated question.
