Shadow Stephanie smiles, before giving Sivius a kiss.

 

"You're gonna jump in the volcano?"

 

He smiles, kissing her back.
"We'll have to arrange something for a later meeting. For now, I gotta go. Have a good day, hon." He says, waving before warping back to the lab.

"Duh. How else do you get to the phoenix?"

 

Shadow Stephanie waves.


Praecantatia seems to be working on configuring a teleporter, a round pad glowing near the room's wall.

 

Sivius taps his foot to notify her of his presence, then keeps silent.

 

"I knew you were there." Praecantatia says, the round pad's glow turning green.

 

"My apologies." He says, idle.

 

"The teleporter's ready, it should take you to Temporus." Praecantatia says.

 

"Pff. I don't know. I thought it might be om top of the volcano."

 

Sivius nods, walking onto the pad.

"Well, if it was we'd see it."

 

He looks at where he's standing.
"Oh yeah, we're already quite far up."

 

Sivius feels a little lighter for a moment, before he's warped to a floating island seemingly in the middle of space. The island appears to only contain a door, a bouncer-figure standing next to it.

 

You've got at least another hour of climbing.
"Yeah. That, and the phoenix isn't small."

He glances at the door, any time distortions shattering around him.
"A god... hired a bouncer?"

 

"One of many, pal." The bouncer says.

 

"I was told to come here to speak with him. How's that going to work?"

 

"Name?" The bouncer asks.

 

"Sivius. I don't expect to be on any lists."

 

The bouncer takes out a crystal bracelet, etching a few runes into it.

"Put this on and don't lose it." The bouncer says, offering the crystal bracelet to Sivius.

 

"What does it do?" He asks, taking it and holding off from putting it on.

 

"Allows you to come back to this timeline, shows that you're an actual person, and prevents people from effecting your timeline in ways they weren't supposed to," The bouncer says, "Head on in."

The bouncer opens the door, revealing a dark red portal with the sound of dance music coming through.
