Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Sure."
I say, getting into one of the balls.

 

"If you learn that, then you have a lot of time to search."

 

"What do you mean by that?"

 

"If you can control yourself, then you won't be hated. You could probably figure out what happened to the others of your kind."

 

"Yeah." Stephanie says.

Now closer, Emerald can see that there's two idols holding cups, the smaller idol carved into the bigger one. Stephanie puts her hands on the arms of the smaller idol, and a green liquid pours into the cup.

You end up being whisked on a nauseating journey through tubes, darting all over the place before finally being deposited onto a large desk in a massive workshop. You can see Shadow Stephanie and Stephanie a short distance away conversing with Emerald.

 

I hastily make my way over to them.

 

Stephanie seems to have her hands on a wooden idol dispensing green liquid into a cup.

"Oh, hey Thirteen. This is where we get bigger apparently." Shadow Stephanie says.

 

"Huh."
I say, looking back to see if Katie followed.

 

"Yeah, I have a pretty clear idea about that."
Pause
"But I WILL control myself, so don't worry."

 

A water filled sphere eventually rolls out of the tube, Katie crawling out from it as the water spills out.

 

I make my way over to her.
"Hey, are you okay?"

 

"Y-Yeah, just a little dizzy." Katie says, getting to her feet and stumbling a bit.

 

I put my arm around her shoulders, helping her stand.

 

"Th-Thanks." Katie says, looking a little nauseous.

 

"Whenever you're ready to move."
I offer.

 

Katie smiles, before starting to walk slowly to the rest of the group.

 

I let go of her, making my way over with her.

 

Katie stays near you, but seems to recover quite quickly as she reaches her friends.

 

"So, you said something about getting bigger?"
I ask Shadow Stephanie once we get there.

 

"Yeah, since everything is upscaled to Praecanatatia's size here, and she doesn't have people our size working for her, she installed these little fountains to let us change size." Shadow Stephanie says, Stephanie drinking the green liquid she obtained from the idol and immediately starting to grow in size, climbing off the desk once she's large enough.
