Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"There's Aj, who we're going to see now, for one."

 

She's able to overhear a bit of the conversation...

"And who's that?"

 

The girl listens intently, while trying to stay out of direct sight or make herself obvious.

 

"He's the, or a, king of shadows. He's got a lot of friends that might be able to help with memory loss."

 

"And he's willing to help? Dark creatures tend to be untrustworthy..."

She succeeds, able to hear both sides of the conversation.

 

"He's... not always the most reliable, but he has a good heart. Or pretends to, I'm not sure."

 

"Well, if it's my one shot, I'll take it."

 

The girl smirks, continuing to listen.

 

"Glad to hear it."
I nod.

 

"If I take some of the food with me I should be fine."
He grabs some of the food.

 

You get to the library.
"Pitch black... what kind of realm is that?"

You've eaten all of it.

 

"One of darkness."
I say, heading through the portal to the Shadow Palace.

Emerald stumbles through.
"It's like an entire damn realm dedicated to murder..." She grumbles.

 

Emerald can barely see much, the red eyes of the guards the most noticeable things in the darkness of the realm.

"What do you want?" One of the guards asks.

 

"Robot... you can answer that... can't you?" She mumbles.

"We were hoping to see the king. Is he in?"
I say to the guard.

 

"Yes, though he's not allowing just anyone in at the moment. I'll need to see form of proof you're allowed to see the king regardless of time, otherwise you're not getting in." The guard says.

"theyre with me." A feminine voice says from behind you, an odd looking girl walking past. She seems to have bubblegum-pink hair tied into a ponytail, and a strange mask with pointed cat-like ears at the top covering her face with what looks to be an abstract butterfly on it, though it doesn't seem to cover her mouth. She appears to be wearing a black t-shirt with a red bleeding heart, a snake biting the heart with an arrow piercing both it and the heart. Her waist is covered by a pair of denim shorts, black and white striped tights extending below them to a pair of black shoes.

The guard sighs.

"Very well." She says, opening the gates with the other guard.

 

"Thanks, kitty..." Emerald mumbles.

 

The girl looks at Emerald, seeming displeased, before walking ahead into the palace briskly.

 

Emerald stumbles in after her, trying to rely less on Thirteen.
