Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

The girl happily eats the meat, her mask conveniently not getting in her way.

 

Ali slips her hood back on, coming back a few minutes later to put a cover over the food before leaving.


Xlentia pokes her head into the shadow realm, looking at the guards near the gate.
"Hello, little mortals! Would you mind doing me a favor?" She asks.

 

Once the girl finishes her food, she looks around for somewhere to put her plates and cutlery.


"What?" One of the guards asks flatly.

 

Ali comes back and takes them into the kitchen.


"Can you tell the little king that him and his friends have a feast thing some tiny dog wants them to go to?"

 

The girl gets up, leaving the mess hall and heading back to Xlentia's chambers to see if they're open again.


"Sure." The guard says, shrugging.

 

The door's open, and Xlentia's sticking her head through a portal in the wall.


"Thanks!" Xlentia says, leaving.
...the portal open.

 

The girl looks up at Xlentia.


The guard eventually heads inside the palace to deliver the message.

 

She lays back down.
"Oh, hello there, little mortal!" She says happily. "Popping in for a visit?"

 

The girl looks toward the doors, before back at Xlentia.

 

Still wide open.

 

The girl walks toward the doors, intending to enter through them.

 

The door stays open, Xlentia looking at them curiously.

 

The girl just heads through the doors, looking toward Xlentia's gold pile.

 

"Oh, are you that one little kitty?" She asks, staying still.

 

The girl pauses momentarily, before heading over to the gold pile and picking up one of the coins, looking it over.

 

She can't pick up any of the coins. Everything's Xlentia-size in here.

 

The girl climbs onto one of the coins instead, tapping her foot on it once on top.

 

It's definitely solid gold.
Xlentia seems a bit confused, watching her.

 

The girl climbs up the pile with surprisingly adept reflexes, stopping and looking around the currency once she gets tired.

 

Giant gold coins, giant jewels... pure riches.
