Vulthuryol tilts his head "And that is?"

 

"It doesn't matter. He can hit a specific vertebrae on a human by shooting the opposite direction, letting gravity land the shot for him. Anyhow... Ihra... Ihra... Where are you, girl?"
Xephyr keeps walking, looking around.

"The draconian homeworld."

 

I get up off the ground, and jump up, starting to hover.
I prepare to slash and burn the vines.
I'm backing up as I hover.

 

"Thanks, though I'd rather not."

"Ehm breaking the shot with wind? Dissolving into wind? Might that help?

As the vines start rushing towards you faster, you realize more vines are sprouting from the ground near you.

 

"Suit yourself."

"Rineth! Is Ihra still here?"
"Xephyr? Seems like you've got a group now... Do you need her?"
"These people may be interested in working with her. They wish to liberate their homeland and need... help."
"As long as she's not dead after it's done. Ihra? Xephyr wants to see you."

A small green-scaled draconian with a blue and pink robe slides off Rineth. They carry a staff with a faintly glowing crystal in the center.

The egg horn sticks out and looks ridiculous.
"Hi, Xephyr! Who are your friends?"

She's completey oblivious to Avis on her shoulder.

"En guard!"
I yell as I slash at a vine.
I'm still hovering.

 

The vine falls to the ground, lifeless. You suddenly realize that a vine behind you is preparing to knock you to the ground.

 

I beat the vine to it.
I cancel the fire, and I start dropping.
I brace for a rough landing, then reactivate the fire before I land, scorching the ground below me, and giving me a softer landing.

 

"Impressive." I comment without emotion. A vine shoots up form the ground behind you and attempts for a hit on the head.

 

"I can and I will." The annoyance is evident through the transmission. "You're almost there."

"Or I could just radiate the wind in an aura..."

"I'm Kalais."

"I'm Zethes."

"Khione."

Avis squeaks something that sounds ridiculously close to "I be Avees!"

I turn around, sword held up like a guard.

 

"For now, we can enjoy the view over here."

 

It prepares to charge you, but you realize its a trick, as you realize you've just been hit on your back by a vine. "Alright, now let me try something other than vines" I say, preparing at

A vine appears beside you, shifting into a sword.
"Let's see what happens when a couple hundred vine swords make a made dash towards you. Better practice your rocket shoes dodging skills" I say.
More vines sprout, shifting into vine swords.

 

"Whelp. Gotta dip!"
I say, starting to fly off into the sky.

 

The vine swords all turn towards you, and each of them shoots up towards you. In a space of a few seconds, you realize there is now a mass of vine swords behind you.

 

I stop going only vertically, and go horizontally, then start going down.
I'm going straight towards you.
