Lariuth's dragon roars in frustration and tries to dislodge the teeth. "And what do you want?" He forces a telepathetic connection, whilst trying to get a better look at the dragon.

 

"Cool. See you at the bottomless pit?"

"No... I'm saying I want to help but my own problems. You don't have a reason to listen to me."
-----
"I don't trust you with your life. You're staying with him."
A green claw is all that can be seen before the other dragon steps on his eye, obscuring vision.

 

"Eh, sure."

"Then why was mentioning the fact that this Ihra can basically revive people needed? But erm, okay. I guess we'll go look for her."

"Know where she is?"

"Rrrrr..." Lariuth's dragon lashes with his claws at where he believes the other dragon's underbelly to be, while breathing fire where he thinks the head is.

 

"Dumb question - how can it be bottomless? Or is it just that nobody's made it back out once they go in?"

"I meant you could have large scale distractions to make bigger windows for ambushes. But yes, I think Ihra is still with Master Eras. If you see a black dragon whose head is as tall as you are, she's nearby."

The other dragon bites down harder in reaction to the pain.

...Lariuth's dragon comes to in a dark room. There's another dragon sleeping in the room, chained to the ground. Its scales are grey and its wings have been cut off.

 

"You'd fall straight down through the earth into the massive lava lake I like to call the Mantle... Even if you have amazing heat resistance, you would either
A) have your head squeezed of by the pressure
B) The gravity imbalance would send you in an unbreakable infinity loop through the lava until the world ends- hopefully not soon.
C. The gravity would send you plummeting at the Core's outer shell, which, after you take the immediate impact of being slammed at a ball of iron at 1000 miles per hour, would encase you in metal. It all depends on which gravity current you hit on your way down.

So to answer your question, no, it's not technically bottomless. Yes, no one has ever made it back."

"That's still pretty small..." Kalais mutters.

Khione scowls, but ultimately ignores him. "Alright, thanks. Want to just randomly teleport around the world, guys?"

"You know that never works. I ended up in a volcano last time."

"Fair enough... We fly then."

A strong wind rolls over the plains, and the trio seem to vanish inside it.

Lariuth tries to break the chains, while reaching out to the other dragon telepathetically. "What's going on here? What happened?"

 

"Oh, fun. Gravity currents?!"

"I... Well...

Avis, honey? I guess we're walking. I don't know if they can hear me, but if you can, go west."
Xephyr sets out towards Ihra's location.

The chains don't budge, and the dragon lazily opens one eye.
"Hmm? What the... Another prisoner? Those are some nasty holes in your neck. Did they say you'll make it?"

 

"Yep. I totally didn't make them or anything."

The wind changes to the west as if in response.

"They haven't really said much to me. From what I judge, probably not... Did they do all of that to you? Cut off your wings and what not?"

 

"Interesting new feet. Lets see how you do with battle using those." I say, me sprouting from the ground. Vines sprout from the ground, moving around in a menacing manner. "Your move first. I've yet to use this flower form in battle. Looks like there will be new experiences abound."

 

"Make them?! For what? Wait... You can manifest lava forms, that's what that was, I bet..."

"Watch out for Nyre."
A couple hours pass until Xephyr reaches No Manms Land.
"We're close now."

"To capture me, yes. I'm only chained because I tried to escape."

A sapphire blue dragon slides into view. One of the walls is apparently a slotted wall.
"You put quite the gash into Ella, newcomer. What's your name?"

 

"Please stop unraveling all my secrets."

OCC: Also, it takes way over a few hours to reach No Mans Land. We can just say Xephyr has super fast walking speeds as a draconian or something, though.

The wind current abruptly shuts off. Khione tumbles out of the air, hardly having time to morph into a hawk and fly away from the ground. She flies around until she regains her balance, landing and reverting into a human.

"Not cool, guys. A little warning next time..."

Another gust pushes through the area and Zethes and Kalais materialize.

"I for one, think that was about as cool as my axe. ... Which is very cool."

"... How many times are you going to make a pun on our stuff being cool? Ahem, anyway, hi Xephyr. Who's Nyre?"

"It's Vulthuryol."

 

"Indeed there will be."
I draw my sword.
"My first move, huh. Alright."
I try to start flying, but get off balance and start rolling straight towards the flower.
I just miss the flower, and roll beyond it, skidding on the ground.
"Damnit."
I mutter.
"Trust me, I'll get better at using these!"
I yell at the flower.

 

"Certainly." Vines start rushing towards you.

 

"I've warned you once. You don't get a second warning," I say as I fade from view.

 

OOC: Xephyr moves faster the colder it is. Normal temp, she'd move about as fast as a human jogging. However, she passively makes the air around her colder, allowing her walk to be comparable to a full-on sprint.

"Sorry. Maybe I just have a thing for cats. And lava. Particularly lava."

"Nyre... will kill you. That's all you need to know. Oh, and if you hit his robe, you'll probably be splashed with plasma."

"Vulthuryol... Our healers are limited. If you would've waited a bit longer, the anesthesia would've kicked in. Instead, we had to bring you back from a broken neck and heal one of our elders."
"You what?!" The grey dragon looks at him in shock.
"My name is Hale. You are currently being held where you cannot make any reckless moves. Your faith and trust in your rider made us deem you worthy. Besides, Xephyr wouldn't use her last wish on guaranteeing your safety. You went too hard on her; while your reaction was understandable, she has known nothing but the feeling you had when she killed your rider."

 

"What's wrong with testing our new abilities with each other? Besides, if Thirteen wants to use those rocket boots in battle efficiently, he has to learn by experience."

 

"I, for once, agree with him." Rineth mutters.
"Let him have his fun. We only have a walking miracle worker here."

 

"I have a thing for dragons, but I may or may not know everything about you just yet."

"And ever so faithful in us."

"You could have just convinced me not to attack... Or something. I do apologize, though."

 

"Few do. If you have questions, ask. I still owe you, anyways."

She reverts to a grey draconian with a sapphire blue robe.
"Welcome to The Hive."

He's jumping back and forth in front of you like a hyper puppy...
