Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

It takes you an hour to break five... WITH Xlentia's aid.

Xlentia pauses.
"Wait, what?"

 

The group collapses, exhausted.

"We need a break." I say, gasping for breath.

 

"Maybe you could have the little dog make you some good food?"

 

"Crystal has anti-barrier runes."

 

"Yeah..." I say, half out of it as Artemis, Katie and Stephanie fall asleep from the exhaustion.

 

As said, he follows her.

 

"Didn't Emerald give him those?"

Your feet get covered in soot by the time you hear the water.
"Go bathe. Please."

Xlentia just watches the group sleep, silent.

 

A few hours later everyone seems to have regained their energy, going back to attacking the barriers.

 

They don't get that time before Xlentia shajes the ground to stir them.
"Hey, Crystal's doing a thing."

 

The group looks for Crystal.

"Yes, ma'am. Don't rush me."
He approaches the water and jumps in.

 

She jumps back, the moving water making it a bit hard to stand.

 

"Well, I really don't know how to use it, I think it's just a close thing."
Crystal says, walking up to the barrier and poking it.

 

The barriers just crumble upon contact.

 

"Oh, yay!"
"Nice work."
I compliment.

 

"Well, keep going, sweetheart." Xlentia says, smiling.

 

"Right."
He says, walking forward.

 

After a few minutes, he finds that the barriers are levitating, holding Emerald about twenty stories off the ground.

 

He rises the ground beneath him, to get up to Emerald.
