"Was it Ragnyon who gave you the vision?" I ask.

"As long as you supervise her... yes."

 

I nod.

 

"Thank you, I'll try to keep her in check."
He hugs Keela.

 

"Please don't tell her this, but... she's a seer of a doomed future. All of her long-term visions are false."

"Yeah, yeah. Don't go overboard with it."

 

He lets go.
"Sorry. I'm just glad."
Pause.
"Shall we go and rest?"

 

"So...she sees the timeline we'd enter if we do something wrong?" I ask.

 

"Yes. We're all weary."

"Yes, she sees the timeline that you would see if you were to abandon your friends in arms."

 

"Or if I were to do something else to doom the timeline. I understand." I say.

 

"Yeah. She's your worst-case-scenario window. But... don't tell her that. She seems depressed enough... speaking of which, I think she's holed up in the grave of her namesake. Might want to have Artemis comfort her or something."

 

"Okay, let's go to sleep then."

 

"Grave of her namesake?" I ask, confused.

 

"Night. Don't oversleep on those shrubs."

"Asimuul, I think? I'd have to look it up. Again. Point is, there's a fallen dragon named Ragnyon whose grave rests in the mountains. I thought you'd been there and left an offering, but maybe that was someone else. I can't remember crap."

 

"Can't promise. They are comfy."
He searches for the bed Sgavrinn made.

 

"I might have to try it sometime, then..." Keela chuckles, walking into her den.

 

"Oh right, yeah, I remember that," I say, "Sure, I could get Artemis to go comfort her, she'd be great at that. She's a pretty wonderful gal, I must admit."

I glance at Artemis, who seems to be comforting a stressed out Katie with a hug.

 

"Good night."
He lays down.

 

"Well, take your time. Your allies' forces are only dwindling."

You wind up waking well past noon the next day, most of the pack gone off to hunt.

 

"God darnit."
He stands up, stretches and starts walking.
"Okay, time to tell Anne the good news."

 

"Thanks." I say, before walking back to the group.

"May I ask a question, Eric?" Artemis asks, smiling.

 

As you head back, Anne's hanging upside down from a tree branch.
"Hiya, sleepyhead."

"Go ahead. I'm not sick of providing answers yet."
