"So, pretty much a kit to do shady things?" I ask, sounding interested.

"You're insane... but I can't say this surprises me."

 

"It's been so long since I've met a human. It's been 20 years since I joined the pack."

 

"She's not even human. She's a vixen, you said..."

 

"A kitsune, she has a tail but human features. If she in her human for ofcourse."

 

"Do you even know if she can transform?"

 

"I wouldn't be much of a Shadow if I didn't know about shady stuff, would I?" Shadow Stephanie says, winking at you, "The pen is actually a dart with powerful poisons inside it. Click the bottom part left for a potent knock-out drug, to the middle, which it's already at, for a powerful paralysis toxin and to the right for a deadly poison. The flashlight is your dart gun, just slide the pen where the batteries should be to load it, then just click the button to fire. Turn the top of it to get the pen to return to it; it sort of acts like a magnet. The thermos has a crystal in it's base that generates the fluid used for your pen. Just top up your pen whenever it starts to feel a bit light, so around the time you've shot about thirty people."

 

"The others told me. They thought she was a vixen but when they tried to attack her, she turned into a kitsune."

 

"This is a terrible thing to give me, but I love it. Give me a hug." I grin, holding my arms out.

"What do you mean?"

 

Shadow Stephanie gives you a big hug, smiling.

 

"Makes no sense why she wouldn't just transform whenever."

"Well, is that it, or is there more? I haven't been counting."

 

"Now that I think about it, I never seen her in her human form nor did I ask about it."

 

"Ask her about it next time. She'll probably be honest with you."

 

"I think that's everyone." Katie says.

"Maybe we could bake a cake for Eric?" Artemis suggests.

"I get the feeling we won't be seeing each other again..." Abigail says, looking at you.

 

"You probably won't see me again. So, that means it's my turn."
Pause.

"Well, as you may know, not everyone tells you the truth. Often times you have to dig the truth out of others, or you simply never know until it's too late. So, I'll give you an opportunity to ask a few things. Be it clarification or whatever, I'll tell you no lies. I might not tell you everything, but it'll give you something to work with in case you get duped."

 

"Now I just need to explain this to the pack."

 

"Good luck with that."
Pause.
"Oh, yeah. We're here. Don't call for me at night again, please."

Just then, Voidfiller creates a connection with Emerald.
"Hey. I'm on my way."

 

"Yeah, sorry. Thanks for the lift."
He gets off.
"I'll be sure to get you some honey later."

 

"I'll try and keep it open, but it's fading."

"No problem. Tell your eagle friend I'm sorry for taking a few swipes at her."
