Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Oh, alright. Did you just recover, or is my timing just off?"

"I'll argue with you after I'm done healing you."

 

"I'll be asleep then."
He laughs.

 

"Yeah. I got up just... a while ago."

 

"Then I'll argue with you after you wake up!" She retorts, giggling.

Pause.
"I'll try and get back to you in a few hours. Something came up."

 

"A'ight. I'll be hunting."
Voidfiller starts to walk.
"Bye."

 

Keila waves before trying to deactivate the orb, and if that fails, she just slips it in a pouch and moves on.

 

The orb deactivates successfully.

 

The pathway seems to lead back out into the large clearing, a few other pathways presumably leading to other parts of the tribal village.


Meanwhile:

Abigail, Artemis, Katie, Shadow Stephanie, Stephanie and I step through a portal into the void palace library.

 

She longs to explore, but opts to just go back and keep her trail of death in one place.


Emerald smiles.
"Great, I just stabilized the portal. Some human in a really cheap-looking bathrobe is the only thing in there, but he said that he wants to talk with you anyways."

-Meanwhile-
"Hey, Thirteen?" Emerald tests. "There's some sixth portal that Aj's getting ready to go through. I would wait a bit, though. There's just a human on the other side, but they said that the portal's only good for one entering and one exit. In other words, you'd need to head in with the big group."
Pause.
"Also, if you can, find Crystal and invite him to go through as well. Maybe even that new Voidfiller guy, wherever he is."

 

"Oh?"
I respond.
"I'll see who I can round up."

 

"Thanks. The gathering's in the library, and the portal's only up for at most a day. Just keep that in mind."

 

"Will do."
I say, then start walking around.

 

There's a brief bit of you losing touch of reality, but you soon find yourself at the doors of an empty training room, sans a few sleeping healers.

 

I regain focus, before walking around, trying to find Crystal.

 

He winds up being up in the armory.

 

I walk a bit towards him.
"Hey, Crystal."
Crystal turns and notices me.
"Oh, hey, Thirteen! What's up?"
"Emerald told me about a portal that's only open for a bit. She says we should get everyone in a big group."
"Uh, are there other people ready?"
"I think Aj's group might be prepared."
"Okay. I'll follow you, then."
I start to make my way out of the armory, and Crystal follows.

 

The halls are empty, but there seems to be a faint path consisting of a thin blue fog leading to the portal room.

 

"Sure. That might take a while though."

 

"So?" She giggles, starting to pad down your leg.

 

"Just thought I should let you know."
Pause.
"Once I sleep, I sleep for a long time."
