Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

It takes a minute or two, but she comes and lands near you.
"Are you okay, Bardock?! I mean... well... what do you need?"

Mary pays it no mind, continuing.

 

"Come lie down here, Mary," Kenas says, pointing toward a bed he's standing next to, "We can try and treat you now."

 

She nods, heading over to the bed and laying down.

 

"Could you find Sparky for me? He needs to carry me."
Pause
"I got caught in a fire."

 

The doctor walks over to Mary, observing her wounds curiously.

 

Voidfiller looks around for the Leviathan.

 

"I'll take a look. You hold on, Bardock!" She says, flying off.

She has a huge gash in her gut, and a recently mended slit throat.
Her blood seems to be replaced with the Ruin.

Still resting below.

 

"Thank you."
He slowly lays on the ground.
"Oof.."
He looks up at the sky.

 

Voidfiller goes back to his bed, sitting down and thinking while waiting for morning.

 

It's filled with smoke, moon hidden by the smig.

The moon peaks, and starts to set as the sun turns the horizon orange.
Still silent.

 

He looks at his weapons, seeing if they are badly damaged or not.

 

"Are you meant to have this substance instead of blood?" The doctor asks.

 

They're in pretty bad shape...

"As a result of a curse, yes. On the bright side, I am immune to the horrors it causes."

 

"Hm, and are the wounds part of the curse too?" The doctor asks.

 

"Okay, so what do I have."
He looks at his weapon.
"My bow got burned and the rope snapped. My axes got burned and the wooden hilts need to be replaced. The blades look fine, so do the arrows."

 

"Yes."

Hopefully you just don't get into a fight until you can repair/replace everything.

 

"So...they cannot be healed?" The doctor asks.

 

"I believe not, which I thought I already said..."

 

"Well...there's not really much we can do for you if you're cursed to be like this." The doctor says.

 

"I thought so."
