Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"We'll see in time. Anyhow... what else?"

It slowly erodes, the Leviathan taking pleasure in annoying Voidfiller.

 

"What do you mean?" The forest guardian asks, "If you want, we can get moving."

 

Voidfiller just sprouts gills, staying in the bed.

 

"I don't know." She says, standing up as she drips with Ruin. "I just hope you have an idea on how to handle this... toxin."

This causes the Leviathan to leave, Voidfiller's bed eventually bobbing back up to the surface.

 

"It's certainly an interesting problem." The forest guardian says, looking the draconian over, "What's your name, by the way? Mine's Kenas."

 

"Aquamarine. My friends call me Mary."

 

"Well, I'll see to it something's done about your toxin problem, Mary," Kenas says, smiling, "Shall we get moving?"

 

He gets out, and summons a new, dryer, bed, and slips into the new one.

 

"Sure. Just, be careful... this toxin instantly forces hybrid life-death guardians straight into death form."

The Leviathan leaves this one alone, though a gentle mist emanates from the storm.

 

Voidfiller keeps one eye open, but still rests.

 

The Leviathan rests beneath him, also seeming to be resting.

 

Voidfiller keeps an eye on the mist.

 

It just hangs near the storm. It makes the bed damp, but not by much. The storm's winds are also gentle breezes at the distance Voidfiller is resting.

 

Voidfiller closes his eye, dosing off.

 

"I'm just a forest guardian." Kenas says, the ground shaking a bit as another large plant starts to close around the pair. However, this time, no vines hold Mary in place, nor is there a burning sensation.

 

"Maybe we should. Just make sure everyone gets out safe."

 

Mary tries to keep the ruin away from the plant, concerned about letting ruin leak into an untainted world.

She nods, rounding up the pack and slowly starting to retreat.
However, it's clear that Anne is watching you from the flames - knowing her, she'll make sure you get called out for leaving after protecting your pack's territory instead of waiting to put control the rest of the fire.

As the sun starts to set, the mist shifts from pleasant to chilled.

 

Voidfiller sleeps through it, seemingly not minding.

 

"You coming too, Anne?"

 

The plant shakes a bit as it feels like it's entering the ground, before the shaking reduces slightly.

Eventually, the plant emerges into a clearing surrounded by thick trees, the sunlight just able to get through. A few more forest guardians seem to be around, all sharing a similar appearance to Kenas.
