Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Perhaps we could work out a deal then. If you side with us and help us get rid of the pirates, we'll try our best to help you." The forest guardian says, smiling.

 

"What... those things in the mountains? I don't know, but we could try. Maybe it's our only hope."

 

She pauses.
"I'm no fighter, but I really don't like the way she treats me... sure. I'll try."

"Knowing them, they could've started the fire... I'll send a scout." He says, running off.

 

"You think a pirate would treat you nicely? She was probably just waiting to use you as slave to trade." The forest guardian says.

 

"Anne, how are things looking?"

 

"She's a mother, too..."

"Bad! Really really really bad!" She shouts.

 

"And? Just because someone evil has a child doesn't excuse them of their crimes! Her child deserves a better mother." The forest guardian says, crossing their arms.

 

"Oh.. great. Just need to hold on until help arrives."

 

"...Her child saved my home's goddess." She protests, albeit faltering.

"I am actively on fire, not on my own volition! What the hell do I hold on to?!"

 

"Just need to make sure we can prefend the fire from spreading. And try not to die."

 

"Thanks, wise guy!" She shouts.

Keela pads up to you.
"We're growing tired, we can't keep this up... should we flee?"

 

"Oh, really? And does she know what a horrible person her mother is?" The forest guardian asks, "Her child is probably the only good person in her bloodline."

 

She sighs.
"I can't speak for that..."

 

"Well, I'm glad I found you before they did anything to you. Consider yourself lucky to get away from those damn pirates." The forest guardian says positively.

 

She nods slowly.
"So... what did you want to... do... with me?"

 

"What do you mean by that?" The forest guardian asks, confused, "In your current state, you wouldn't do much good fighting. I was thinking of taking you back to our sort of 'home' here and seeing if you could be healed."

 

He attempts to make his way through the storm.

 

"Again, Gaia can't heal me, I don't see how you'd be more successful. Besides, you want something out of me, don't you?"

He can't get through, the storm somehow cutting into him as he tries.

 

Staying outside, Voidfiller making some ice on the sea, summoning a bed and resting.

 

"Have you met Lady Gaia? In person?" The forest guardian asks.
