Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"I understand." I say, opening a dark portal behind me before stepping through, the portal closing afterward.

 

Emerald just stares blankly at the portal.

 

The portal doesn't last long, a few wisps of darkness dissipating shortly after it closes.

 

Meanwhile, Sivius reaches out to Gaia.
"...Hello?"

 

"Yes?" Gaia asks.

 

"DO YOU WANT TO GET KILLED? ENTERING OUR TERRITORY LIKE THAT!"
He says, a bit irritated.

 

"Lady Gaia, as you may know, I am in a relationship with the queen of shadows... and I was wondering if I might have a favor from you on our next date."

"Do you want your territory to burn?!"

 

"And what might that be?" Gaia asks.

 

"The only place I can think of she hasn't been is your beautiful garden. I was hoping that you might permit us to have a picnic there someday soon." Sivius asks, a bit roundabout.

 

"Hmm...I shall consider it. You're asking for a lot here, however. Very few are permitted to enter the Garden of Gaia." Gaia says.

 

"I understand, though after my lady put up with me through my worst, I figure she deserves to see my best efforts."
Pause.
"Thank you for your time, and good day."

 

"The same to you." Gaia says, before cutting the connection.

 

The draconian slowly draws closer to the ship, hoping Aquira jumps down to talk again.

 

A few water guardians assisting the ship glance at the draconian, but Aquira isn't among them.

 

They trace Aquira's soul, unsure where she is.

 

Aquira seems to be steering the ship, standing by the wheel.

 

"NO."
He looks over at the fire.
*Grrrr*
"WE'LL DISCUSS THIS LATER. HELP ME PUT OUT THE FIRE."

 

She tries telepathically linking with her.
"E-excuse me, captain? I-is this just a patrol?"

She nods, spewing ash from her tail to help smother the fire.

 

"No, it's a search." Aquira replies.

 

"How can I stop this fire?" He thinks.
He looks around, trying to think of a way.
"Maybe water?"
