Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Abigail just keeps burning the flowers.

"Ugh, fine. I'm going to go burn some stuff away from you squares." Abigail says, annoyed.

Abigail blasts off with her Magma Boots, the smell of burning still hanging in the air.

 

Ihra starts gently shaking Artemis.
"Come on. You're alive. Wake up."

 

Artemis murmurs a little, but otherwise stays asleep.

I try clicking my fingers, before realising that's Artemis' deal.

"Honey, it's time to wake up." I say kindly.

 

I sigh. "Drake, or... erm... whatever you're going by now, I have something to say. Normally I wouldn't say something like this to an opponent, but... I like you. You aren't that bad. From what I've seen, you're just seeking retribution. So I'll warn you before I do this. I'm about to trace through your soul to find where it's, *ahem* rooted." I quickly glance around to check if anyone is laughing. I then copy the appearance of the sunglasses Abigail was wearing onto my face. "Of course, I have no control over souls yes? So how will I track you?" I quickly reach down and uproot the flower with my gauntlet, holding it inches away from my face. "By fusing my own soul into this conveniently placed flower."

 

Ihra waves a leaf across Artemis' face.
"Come on. You're not dead. If I don't get to sleep in, you don't get to sleep in."

 

Artemis stays asleep.

"Alright, if this works, it's going to be the cheesiest thing ever." I say.

I gently kiss Artemis as she sleeps.

Artemis shifts a little, before her eyes begin to open.

"Wow," I say in disbelief, "That's cheesy."

"Ughh, what...happened?" Artemis groans, trying to get up.

 

"You... Aj, what happened? Last thing I remember I was drowning and Rineth yanked me out."

 

"Katie flooded the place to give herself the upper hand." I say.

"And...there was dragons? And then one of them-" Artemis gasps, checking herself over.

"Hit me...and everything hurt." Artemis finishes.

"I took you back here, and forest spirits began to heal you; though, Ihra did about 90% of the work." I explain.

"Thank you, Ihra." Artemis says, looking up at Ihra and smiling.

Artemis looks around, "Where's Abigail and Katie?" She asks.

 

Ihra just hugs Artemis.
"Abigail just flew off, and Katie gave me these... things. I don't even know what they do. Or what they are."

 

Artemis hugs Ihra, smiling.

"Ice Bracelets," Artemis says, "They should negate most of the effects of fire and heat; try them on."

 

"Well, looks like someone here might have the bad case of an ulterior motive. Sorry to say Lyphus," I say, intentionally getting the name wrong, "But I can't let that happen." Vines sprout from the ground, seizing me and drag me back into the earth. "You can try and follow me, but I don't recommend on it." Echoes a newly sprouted communication flower.

"So, Uhm, Arnold. Was that according to plan?"

 

"No, it wasn't. All of them destroyed... except that stupid Leoseal! Should have known how soft they were... when I first saw them, they were meant to be some of the toughest monsters in an arena! But look, they're softer than any other monster. I guess we'll try following them again. We'll need to stay far enough away to not get detected... or..."
A pair of eyes appear out of thin air. They seem to be dragon eyes.
"Let's see how long it takes them to notice this."
Arnold climbs onto the dragon. He immediately turns invisible.
"Try to get used to seeing nothing underneath you. This may last some time."

 

"It's not all bad. And visitors just make it all the more interesting."

Avis purrs.

"Alright erm... Thank you."

 

"I'm already used to it. After getting flung up and down and thrown all over the place by the Big Three on many occasions, it's kind of repitative. Also, I'm pretty sure that Leoseal had some potential anyways. If they didn't just pet it and start appealing to it, it might have done something. Also, next time, do you want me to help by intervening? Of course though, I can't do anything about the Big Three."

"Yes, I guess so. I remember back when there where great citadels, with high towers, and magnificent palaces..." I seem to be clouded in though for a while.

OOC: I can see Abigail as Churchill, because she's awesome like Churchill, but why can't Aj be Hitler, and Artemis be Donald Trump?
