Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Maria and Jennifer glance behind Xlentia.

 

"Don't worry. She wants to explore the deeper parts of the forest, so I want to ask if you could maybe not attack her."

 

"I might be able to whip something up. Emphasis on might."

 

Her pile of gold is taller than she is.

"Don't go too far out of your way."

"...As long as she remains peaceful, sure."

 

"Yes, no worries."

 

Pause.
"What is she like? And are you sure this dragon won't cause problems?"

 

"Well. She's a prophet. She has scales and a staff."
Pause.
"She also can't walk that well, that's why she has the dragon with her."
He looks at Sgavrinn.
"And he. Well, he's just a little curious and easily distracted. But he does no harm."

 

"So, when he wakes up, if I stand in front of him, he won't attack?"

 

"Well, he might get scared and do something to protect himself. Let me talk to him first."

 

"Okay. I'll let you handle it."

 

"Okay, step aside."
He sits infront of Sgavrinn and tries to wake him up.
"Hey, Sgavrinn, wake up."

 

He moans, then yawns and stretches.

 

"Hey buddy."
He pets him.
"Now don't be scared, but my friends are here."

 

He looks at you uneasily, looking around.
...Keela's still in hiding.

 

"Keela, you can come out now. Try to look.. friendly."

 

She comes out, and Sgavrinn sniffs at her, uneasy before sinking to the ground.

"...He's more timid than we are of it."

 

"Don't worry, she's my friend."
He pets Sgavrinn.

 

He nods, waiting.

"...Do we give him permission to go through our territory? He seems nice enough."

 

"You can. I think it would we better not to scare him to much."

 

"Okay... can you tell him he's welcome here?"

Sgavrinn starts relaxing a bit, the rest of the pack showing themselves.
