Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

He stares into the darkness.
"I'd love to see what you intend to do with me."

He shakes his head, confused.

 

Peridots words seem to just come out as thoughts.

Suddenly, the floor seems to give out below Peridot, and he feels himself falling for a long time.

 

He lets himself fall, halfheartedly checking to confirm his spatial distortion abilities are 'nulled.'

Peridot still seems unable to distort the fabric of reality.

After falling for what feels like hours, the darkness clears, and Peridot finds himself dropped into the Void Palace library.


Meanwhile, Stephanie looks for Linoa in the crowds of people exiting the colosseum, annoyed.

"Should I give direction back to Ragnyon?"

 

He checks his abilities once again.


She's unconscious outside of the colloseum.

Sgavrinn shakes his head.

 

"Wanna stay with me then?"

 

He nods, staying closer than usual.

 

"Are you hungry perhaps? Is that it?"

 

"What's with the storm? Are there really enough threats around here to warrant that?"

 

He shakes his head, spitting up a thorn off a flower stem.

Peridot seems to be back to normal.


Stephanie tries picking Linoa up, but is too weak to.

"Need some help?" I ask, walking over to Stephanie and Linoa, picking Linoa up.

"What happened back there?" Stephanie asks.

"I dunno, Mortius called off the match after Peridot started assaulting people, and apparently Muffy was messing with the crowds." I say.

"Ugh, I just want to go back home. I've had enough of this place." Stephanie says, rubbing her head.

"Same here. Maybe I could see if your mother can chat with Mortius about our arrangement for Abigail's body and soul half." I say.

Stephanie grabs me with her right hand before teleporting myself, Linoa and herself out of hell and back to Praecantatia's islands.

 

He heads to the realm of shadows, then approaches and waits at the palace gate.


Linoa comes to outside of hell.
"Where's... Muffy..." She mumbles.

 

"Then what is it? I don't know."
Pause
"If only you could talk."

 

He just nudges you forward.

 

"What is it, Peridot?" One of the guards asks sternly.


Linoa finds herself under the shade of a tree on a blanket, Stephanie, myself, Praecantatia and a few others chatting on a picnic bench a short distance away.

 

"Your king is returning soon. Tell him he should still expect a fight." He says.


She sighs, getting up and heading over.
"Hey, where'd Muffy go? Little bugger knocked me out."

 

"Guess we're going inside the forest then."
He walks through the forest, trying to keep Sgavrinn close by.

 

Sgavrinn keeps in literal touch as you go, worried about the other inhabitants.
