Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Nothing actually hits the figure, sliding off of a shield around it and the throne.

 

Muffy doesn't mind, simply walking around the arena and coughing up various alchemicals at the audience.

Peridot just stares at the figure.

 

The crowd doesn't seem to be as shielded, getting rather annoyed at the things being dropped on them.

Eventually a demon grabs Muffy, throwing her into a cage and flying her down from the top of the colosseum.

 

"Do you want to go back to Ragnyon?"

 

She slips out of the cage and jumps back into the arena, spitting out a small capsule.


Peridot picks up the capsule and continues to stare at the skeletal figure.
"Well... are you not entertained?"

He shakes his head.

 

The cage seems to have a shield around it to prevent things from slipping out of it, requiring Muffy to find the source of it and drain it if she wants to get out.

 

She starts caterwauling.


Peridot just stares at the skeletal figure.
"You're not going to make us fight?"

 

The figure just stays where he is.

"I think we have a non-fighter here Jennifer." Maria announces.

"Yeah, what's with the hesitation with this guy?" Jennifer comments.

 

"Are you scared?"
...
"Don't worry, you're save with me."

 

Muffy paws at the cage.


Peridot scans for the announcers.

He nods, still hesitant.

 

The demon doesn't let Muffy out.


The succubi announcers seem to be in a small booth just below the screen where they're being projected.

 

She looks around her cage, wanting out.


Peridot checks to see how shielded it is, via handcannon barrage.

 

"Don't worry. Once we're in my territory we should be save."

 

The cage seems rather tightly barred, though the demon seems to be waiting with the incubus near the entrance, chatting idly.


There appears to be a shield around it, though the barrage shocks the pair.

"Whoa! Calm down!" Maria says.

"Uh, we've just received word that this match has been cancelled and further matches won't be held for the rest of today. You can go and get a refund on your tickets by the exit." Jennifer announces, before the screen is turned off along with the speakers.

The crowd boos, throwing their junk and whatever weapons they have at Peridot, the skeletal figure simply disappearing from his throne.

I take my leave, heading out the other exit to the colosseum.

 

He whimpers.

Peridot fires a shot at the back of your head, and another at Muffy's cage.

 

I deflect it without looking back, and the shield around Muffy's cage seems capable enough of blocking Peridot's shot.

A large hole opens beneath Peridot, and he's dragged down into it by a thousand clawed hands, unable to escape as everything goes black around him.

 

"If your really don't want to come, you can go back to Ragnyon if you. You know the way back, right?"

 

He just waits, uninterested.

He shakes his head.

 

"You don't?!"
He sits down.
"Want to make a map again?"

 

Everything is black and silent around Peridot, though he feels a presence around him.
