Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

He enters into No Man's Land, the meteor stricken plains silent as usual.

 

"I think it'd be best if you let me in." Stephanie says.

 

Voidfiller sprouts wings and makes his way back to the storm in the ocean.

 

The door slowly opens.

The four-winged beast seems to have known he was coming, remaining perfectly in Voidfiller's path to the barrier.

"...You're back."

 

"Yes, it's been a pleasure."
He holds up his hand, waiting for her to shake it.

 

She shakes it, waving as she slides off Sgavrinn and hobbles into the cave.

Sgavrinn cranes his neck and looks back at you, seeming curious.

 

"I said I'd be, didn't I?"
It responds.

 

"You want to bring me home, Sgavrinn?"

 

Stephanie smiles, looking in.

 

"I was sort of hoping you wouldn't be."

A three-foot tall draconian with teal scales and robe looks up at Stephanie.
"Hi, u-uh... Stephanie."

He nods.

 

"Hello. It's nice to meet you." Stephanie says calmly, smiling.

 

"N-nice to meet you, too." She utters, hugging Stephanie the best she can.


The map notifies Aquira that her home door was just opened.

 

"I wanted to...talk to you about your mother. Or rather, the you that came before you now." Stephanie explains.


Aquira checks it, before shaking off her worries.

 

"Xephyr?" Kiin asks.


As she checks it, it also seems to be a baby monitor of sorts - it notifies her that Kiin went outside.

 

Stephanie nods.


Aquira keeps an eye on it as she continues to plot out her route.

 

"W-what about her? And can I sit down?" Kiin asks, going to a bench anyways.

Muffy sneaks by, slipping into the nearest open room.


It then notifies her Kiin went back inside, and that an unidentified soul signature also entered behind her.

 

"I have reason to believe that her soul was...seen to, by Mortius, the god of death. If that's true, I might be able to create a link to Mortius through you." Stephanie explains.


Aquira simply shakes her head, disappointed.

 

"Okay... what do you need me to do?"


It then leaves an idle notification that the door was left open.

 

"Well, nothing much. I was thinking of simply checking your soul for any traces of Mortius, and going from there." Stephanie says.


Aquira stops paying attention to it.

 

It shrugs.
"Sorry? But I'm here."
