Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Praecantatia puts Crystal on the floor a short distance from her.

 

Crystal picks up the cup, drinking the green liquid.

 

Shortly after crystal drinks it, he begins to rapidly grow until he's the same relative size as Stephanie, Praecantatia and Linoa.

Suddenly the house doesn't seem as big as it was before.

 

"Oh. Glad that worked."
Crystal smiles, the cup disappearing into his hand.

 

Praecantatia smiles.

 

Crystal smiles as well.
"So, what'd I miss?"

 

"We're planning on going to hell to find Aj and, hopefully, Abigail." Stephanie explains.

 

"Oh, cool!"

 

"I don't think you understand the weight of a trip to hell, where the evil are sent to pay for their crimes in life." Praecantatia says.

 

Crystal thinks for a bit.
"Yeah. But the same could be said about breaking into a palace and trying to hurt a god."

 

Praecantatia raises an eyebrow.

 

"Xelentia."
Crystal reminds.

 

"Oh, Tiffany's other self." Praecantatia says, mostly to herself.

 

"Uhh, I guess?"

 

"So you were with the group when they fought Xlentia?" Praecantatia asks, remembering.

 

"Mhmm."
Crystal nods.

 

"Well...I hope it wasn't too harsh for you." Praecantatia says, smiling kindly.

 

"I... honestly didn't actually do that much."

 

"Oh." Praecantatia says, unsure what to say next.

 

She holds up her staff between you as blood runs from her claws and into the crystal ball, wisps of color slowly weaving together.

After a moment, it forms a small image you running claws through a vaguely familiar wolf, a look of betrayal on their face.
Just as the image begins to unravel, you see yourself start to collapse onto the ground and pull something out of your shoulder.



"...Well, I can safely say that was the right choice, because I don't know what to make of that."

She keeps turning into water, reforming, firing, and repeating.
Perhaps you can land a hit while she seems to be becoming comfortable.

She remains silent, following you as the sounds of sloshing water echoes throughout the ruins.

...seems you went a bit more out of your way than expected.

They keep following the ship, able to match pace without fail.


"...Is Mortius the kind that would forcibly hold him there, or leave him trapped in... there?" Linoa asks, a bit concerned.
