Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Eh, not really. I can transform though."
He thinks a bit.
"You don't hate shapeshifters, do you?"

 

It draws closer, ever so slightly over time and ever so slightly growing.


Linoa heads through, bringing Crystal through.

"No. Werewolf?"

 

"You got it."

 

Aquira weighs anchor, jumping off her ship and going to investigate.


Nothing seems to happen.

Stephanie heads down the hallway, eventually coming to a split which she assesses.

 

They suddenly turn tail and back off, a cloud of toxin forming a visual barrier between them and Aquira.


Linoa follows.

"You might be the last one left."

 

"Might be right. I've never met another one before."
He looks up.
"I don't even know if my parents were werewolves. I don't remember them telling me, but it could be possible."

 

"Perhaps a vision from the prophet could verify my thought. I've never seen one before."

 

"You could ask her."
*sigh*
"I still don't know what I should ask her."

 

"You've met her? Just ask for a vision!"

 

Aquira stays in the water for a bit, watching before heading back to the ship and setting off again.


Stephanie heads down the right path, coming to a screen which seems to detail various locations with an odd tube leading up, Stephanie pressing one of the locations thrice. A large transparent ball appears in the tube, coming from the bottom half of it, and Stephanie rolls it around until she finds what seems to be a cap and unscrews it, getting into the ball and screwing the cap back on. Stephanie salutes to Linoa, before the ball is rapidly sent up through the tubes.

Another ball appears in the tube, presumably for Linoa.

 

"I have, yes. And I will, but she's busy at the moment."
Thinking...
"Yeah, asking about others might be a good question."

 

It follows her again.


She does exactly what Stephanie did, hoping Crystal was watching.

"If you know her, always ask for a vision. Any glimpse can answer many questions."

 

"Yeah, she already convinced me. But I need to wait for her companion to pick me up."

 

Aquira gets out and tries to inspect it again, frustrated.


Linoa is launched through the tube system, various coloured lights lighting up her journey. Linoa's deposited out the tube at one point, falling onto a floor of springs that bounce her around before a tube at the end of the room sucks her back into the system. At another point in her journey, Linoa's deposited into an area that appears to be completely underwater, jets pushing her along before she's launched out of the water and grabbed by a pair of mechanical hands, which roll her along a path, through a loop and into spring that launches her toward another spring, which launches her up into the tube system again. Linoa is eventually deposited into what looks like the exit to the tube system in a massive kitchen, everything looking like it's been scaled up to what it should be. Stephanie seems to be nearby, looking around for something.

 

"Is she busy?"

She glimpses a draconian, toxins forming another barrier.
"S-sorry... I just wanted to thank you."


Linoa follows Stephanie.

 

"For?" Aquira asks, suspicious.


Stephanie eventually finds two wooden idols, a smaller idol carved into the legs and feet of the larger one, each of them holding cups. Stephanie places her hands on the arms of the smaller idol, and a light green liquid pours from the mouth of the idol into the cup, filling it slightly before it releases the cup. Stephanie drinks the contents of the cup before putting it back, Stephanie starting to grow rather quickly, eventually becoming the appropriate size of the kitchen; incredibly huge.

 

"Well, she's a prophet. Many people want to know about her visions."

 

"O-oops... p-please don't hurt your crew for helping me..."


"Should I follow suit?" Linoa asks telepathically.

"Aren't you a part of that many?"

 

"Yes. But patience is the greatest virtue."

 

"What!?" Aquira asks, confused and angry.


Stephanie nods.
