Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

There don't seem to be any doors to open around, but a portal opens to the void palace library. All things considered, it could be treated as a doorway to another reality.

Shadow Stephanie heads through the portal.

"I'll come and be a bigger distraction in just a moment." Shadow Stephanie says, before stepping through a portal to the void palace library.

 

"Oh, just talk to Sivius."

 

I follow her, then start making my way to the cryostasis room.

 

"Will do." Shadow Stephanie says.

Shadow Stephanie seems to be headed in the same direction, walking alongside you.

 

I just continue walking, not paying much mind to her.

 

Emerald drops the link.

 

Shadow Stephanie seems to do the same, lost in her thoughts.

Shadow Stephanie doesn't stop Emerald, continuing toward the cryostasis room.

 

"Oh, that's Xyrnal."

 

Upon arrival, Sivius is waiting there.
"Hello."

"Oh, nice place. A bit cold for my tastes, but it's pretty nice."

 

"Hey, Sivius." Shadow Stephanie says, smiling, hiding her nervousness.

 

"So, you still can't bring yourself to tell me how you feel?" He asks, sounding disappointed.

 

"I don't...I don't know how I feel." Shadow Stephanie says, sighing.

 

"You like warm places then? It's not that cold to be honest."

 

"First, you don't tell me you don't like me when I'm drunk, so you failed that test. Then, you come here all nervous and try to act like nothing's wrong?" He asks, mildly irritated. "You are not in the wrong, but why can't you be up-front with me?"

"I come from hell. Just about everywhere else feels cold."

 

"Because...Because..." Shadow Stephanie says, struggling for words, "Because I'm an idiot, alright!? I didn't tell you because I didn't want to hurt your feelings, and I tried to act like nothing was wrong because apparently there's something bigger than our relationship going on you wanted to see me about."

Shadow Stephanie's eyes start to well with tears.

 

Next to Shadow Stephanie, I make a sound that's something between a cough and a throat tearing, as to notify my presence, before speaking up.
"Should I leave, or do you have important information to relay, Sivius?"

 

"Yeah okay."
Pause
"I do have a question though."

 

Sivius lunges forward and gives her a kiss.
"My feelings mean nothing, but you're right about the second part."

"Ask away."

"I think it'd be better if you left for the time being."

 

Shadow Stephanie hugs Sivius.

"I'm sorry," Shadow Stephanie says, crying slightly, "I've been a terrible girlfriend to you."

 

I just nod, walking anywhere that's away from the two of them.
