Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Crappy orders..."

 

"Thank you."
I nod, making my way into the palace and finding the stairs.

 

"In your perspective." Shadow Stephanie says.

There seems to be a large set of stairs leading up to the first floor at the back of the palace. Another set of stairs lead to the second near to the first set, luckily.

 

I make my way up to the second floor, walking and looking for the aforementioned doors.

 

The large doors are quite a walk away, a large hallway leading up to them lined with strong looking guards, the strongest looking waiting by the doors. The hallway seems to be lit by a few stained glass windows, royal figures depicted in them.

 

I casually walk down the hallway, close to the doors.

 

You feel all the guards eyes staring you down, a sense of danger in the air.

A large sword blocks your entry through the doors.

"And just what do you think you're doin' 'ere lad?" The guard blocking your entry asks.

 

I don't seem phased by the guards.
"I was hoping to get a message to the queen."

 

"A message? What kind 'a message?" The guard asks, suspicious.

 

"It's from a guy named Sivius."
I explain.
"The queen knows him well."

 

The guard knocks on the giant door, "Your Majesty, I got a guy called, uh, what's your name lad?" The guard asks.

 

"Thirteen."
I say loudly, as to enable Shadow Stephanie to hear from the other side.

 

"Duh."

 

"I got a guy called Thirteen 'ere who says he's got a message from some guy called 'Sivius'. What should I do your majesty?" The guard asks loudly.

There's a slight pause, before Shadow Stephanie's voice can be heard through the door.

"Let him in." Shadow Stephanie commands, a large handle on the leftmost door turning, the door shifting open slightly.

"Well, g'luck lad. Just a fair warning to ya, you try and harm the queen and you'll be dead faster than you can apologise, got it?" The guard warns.

"Hey, at least your library isn't burnt down, right?" Shadow Stephanie asks.

 

"Wasn't planning to."
I nod, smiling, and walking through the opening in the door.

 

Shadow Stephanie seems to be lying on a colossal bed watching a giant TV casually in her larger form, getting up once she notices you.

"Hey, Thirteen." Shadow Stephanie says, her voice booming.

 

"Hey."
I say, walking a bit closer.
"Sivius wanted me to tell you that he wants to talk to you."

 

Shadow Stephanie sighs.

"I know. I should have talked to him much sooner." Shadow Stephanie says, sounding guilty.

 

"There would be multiple dead people if it was."

 

"He says it's more important than whatever you two have going on."
