"W-well, the good news is we were able to revive most of her before it happened."

Easily a million books line the shelves, but there are too many categories to keep track of...

"What do you mean? Where is she?" I ask with a demanding tone.

Bardock walks through the shelfs and selects a random book

 

"Her body is here... but we couldn't remake anything other than her heart before the glitch happened."

Picked a dictionary that's a good ten pounds.

 

"Bring her to me, I'll see what I can do." I say.

 

"Oh.. God.. that's heavier than I thought."
Bardock puts back the book and selects a different one.

 

"No, I was wondering if you could do me a favor."
I say, pushing my sword into the ground where Abigail died and rotating it.
"Can you dig a small hole here?"

 

"Uhm... I don't know if we can. Right now, she's just a fleshbag of blood and stem cells."

You pick what seems to be a travel log, written in a rather childish manner.

"Sure. How deep?" It says, trotting over.

 

"Ugh, useless!" I say angrily, cutting the connection.

 

"Nothing interesting?"
He walks around and searches for a shelf that contains books about stories.

 

Sapphire nervously continues watching you, cloaked... albeit terrified.

There's an entire section labeled 'Fiction - Fables + Legends.'

 

I talk to Stephanie about going to see Praecantatia, who agrees and offers me her right hand. I take it, and the pair of us teleport away.

 

I put my sword in deeper, before turning it a few more times then pulling it out.
"About your size would be good."

 

"That's more like it."
Bardock selects a random book.

 

Sapphire heads back to Artemis' house, uncloaking and knocking nervously.

"Okay."
Within seconds, dirt starts flying out from behind the raptor, and this goes on for a good five minutes before it stops and turns to you, cakes in dirt.
"This good?"

There's a tale about a knight going to slay a dragon, and how he was spared. He later betrayed the dragon, finally killing it, only to be imprisoned by the same king who ordered the knight to kill the dragon in the first place.

 

After a short wait, Myria, looking a little worn out, answers the door.

"Yes?" Myria asks.

 

"...Are those two okay?"

 

"Katie and Artemis? You can come see for yourself." Myria says, stepping aside.

 

Nervously, Sapphire enters.
