Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Stephanie pauses, turning back around to look at the figure nervously.


I slide around as a shadow for a bit on the wall, sliding down the wall as a normal projection of a shadow would.

 

Ragnyon nods.
"...Do you like to read?"

 

"Everything now and then in my free time."

 

They seem to be drawing closer, though they too seem nervous.


The creeps still ignore you.
...Also, somehow the ladder is perfectly fine.

"Go on."

 

"I...I come in peace!" Stephanie says.


I slide down to the ground, looking for any holes around the fort to squeeze through.

I'd say due to the amount of people in the RP, and those that are online interacting with each other. Each person basically gives one or more people a response, and they respond to that in a neverending loop.

 

"My goddess has a library made for her servants. It's open to anyone who is a friend or ally."

"What's your name?" The figure shouts.


Just the wide open entryway...
But you'd have to descend to the vertical face, and that would involve leaving the tome and ladder behind.

 

"Love to visit. But I want to get back to my pack afterwards if possible."

 

"Ste-" Stephanie starts to say, before reconsidering, "Stella!"


I partially emerge from the ground, half of my body now above ground in a physical form while the other half still in the ground, appearing is a round circle of darkness. I decide to flip open Vei's tome, looking inside.

 

"Of course. We wouldn't want to kidnap you."

"That's a nice name!" The figure shouts.
It seems to be a draconian, as they draw closer.


Some pages are in Dacori, some in common, and others in ancient languages.
Most spells are offensive, using a foe's power against itself.

 

"Yeah, you better not."
Pause
"So, when are we going?"

 

"Do you want to work together to try and get this relic?" Stephanie asks, walking toward the draconian.


I look for any spells that blow things up, or destroy things.

 

"Tonight. I'm going to head back after one more day of visions."

"Sure! What're you after it for? This place sucks!"


That's about half of the book.

 

"I wanted to get it to use it in a ritual to free one of my friends," Stephanie says, "This place is certainly strange. I can't use any of my psychic powers, and I thought I drowned just now, but I'm still sort of alive?"


I try blowing a hole in the ground a short distance away.

 

"Wish I had Lucy with me, she could've sent the pack I might stay away a bit longer." (Not sure if the companions where allowed, only know Keela was)

 

"That stuff's common! Might I ask which friend?"


The dirt flies off in all different directions, splattering on bits of the wall.
The horde turns and starts marching towards the wall again.

(Other companions are permitted)
"If you reach out to her, it'll probably work out." Ragnyon shrugs.

 

"Do you know a draconian called Ihra? Or a huge dragon called Xlentia?" Stephanie asks.


I try blowing up the horde, while occasionally trying to blow up an even deeper hole where the first explosion was.

 

"Lucy?!"
Bardock reaches to the sky with one hand and places 2 fingers in his mouth, letting out a high pitched whistle.
