Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

She hesitates.
"Leave me alone. I've had enough of your torture."

He nods, sniffing the ground and soon following a scent trail.

 

"Sure, you lead the way." Artemis says happily.

"What? Please, I want to be your friend!" Shadow Stephanie says with a smile, "I don't even remember the last time we met, it's been so long!"

 

"That's fast."
Bardock follows Sgavrinn.

 

I nod, leaping up into the air and blasting off towards Rath'haga.

 

Artemis grows a large vine hand and picks herself up in it, before throwing herself in the same direction as you, flying through the air.

 

The Matriarch takes another step back.
"I thought there would be honor between queens. Please, leave my domain." She says, fear in her voice.

Artemis is starting to feel sick...

Sgavrinn keeps following the scent trail, eventually losing it and whining.

The hand quickly withers.

 

I adjust myself out of Artemis's way, landing where she does.

 

"Lost it? Just sniff around a bit and maybe you find something."
Bardock looks around for the vixen.

 

"Ok, since I want to be your friend, I'll do this favour for you." Shadow Stephanie says, stepping back through a dark portal.

Artemis lands in a large, soft looking flower. The flower soon withers away as Artemis taps her necklace, transforming into her Death Guardian form.

"Sorry, I have to change. The ruin here is getting to me." Artemis apologises.

 

"Need some blood or are you good?"

 

"If you're willing to spare some, it'd help." Artemis says, smiling weakly.

 

"I'll be fine. Do your thing."

 

Artemis smiles, before biting into your neck and drinking some of your blood.

"Thanks." Artemis says after she finishes, wiping her mouth.

 

As expected, the blood tastes metallic.
"No problem. The house should be that way."
I point towards what just seems like a bunch of houses.
"Should we check out the farm, first?"

 

"If you want to, it'd be nice to see how things are going." Artemis says.

 

"Yeah, sure. Let's go."

I start making my way towards the farm.

 

Artemis follows alongside you, seeming quite happy.

 

You see a tinge of orange up in a tree.

Sgavrinn still can't find the scent, whining again after a minute.

As you get closer, the farm seems just fine, albeit in the middle of the harvest.

I stop, looking at the farm.
"Well, everything seems good here."

 

Bardock tries to climb the tree.
"Keep searching, Sgavrinn. I think I found something."
