Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Alright. I'll head there now."
I start making my way to the portal room.

 

I accept the handshake.
"I shall be dueling another person if there are any volunteers." I say to the other Draconians.

 

Emerald waves, and you find a couple raptors looking through some of the other portals.

The other challengers seem to be backing down, applauding your victory nonetheless.

 

"Hey."
I greet them, stopping.

 

"Thank you, that means a lot." Praecantatia says happily, stepping back onto the pad. A circle of light surrounds Praecantatia, stretching into the sky, before she and the pad seemingly disappear, the circle of light disappearing upwards.

The group gets up, ready to follow Rineth through the portal.

 

"She..uh.. wasn't really happy to see me."

 

They pause, stopping dead in their tracks.
"Uhm..."
"Hello...?"

"You transformed. You were screaming, you know."

Rineth heads through, stopping in front of the portal room as Thirteen seems to have caught a few raptors doing... well, whatever it is, they look guilty.

 

The group decides to stop and wait, watching what happens.

 

"You know of my transform ability?"

 

"You wondering about the portals?"

"...Yep."
"Are we in trouble?"

"No, but a human can't bash down trees."

 

"No. Sorry for stopping you, I've got to go."
I head through the Maralune portal.

 

They follow you through, still confused.
"What's all the yellow and green stuff in those other places?" They ask.

Thirteen goes through.

 

"On the ground? Most likely plants."

 

The group follows, trying to be quiet as to not be noticed.

 

"Fine. I was told by some of my friends that a kitsune, disguised as a vixen, attacked them. While I was walking through the forest to get some fruits, I spotted a vixen. I didn't know if she was the kitsune though."

 

"Real ones?"
"Like, the stuff in the respite?"

Ragnyon sighs.
"Do you terrorize every fickle child you come across? I think I know them."

There are too many raptors on the other side to -not- be noticed, most saying things like "Hi again" or "Welcome back," and "Where'd you go?"

 

"Hello." Shadow Stephanie says happily, walking over to one of the raptors.

 

"The yellow stuff might be sand, but yes, it's real. The most common plant is called grass, is green, and often coats the ground, making the ground itself seem green."

 

They look awkwardly at her.
"Hi, miss."
"Why are you so... dark?"
"She's a shadow, you nitwit."
"But there's nothing in the sky making her!"
"NITWIT."

They look at you, confused.
"...Okay."
"Interesting."
