Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"W-what the hell...?" She stutters, turning hard and running even faster.

 

"Oh, well I'm glad Ragnyon's feeling better at least. Do you know where they are?" Artemis asks.

 

"Xyrnal. Though... as a biased guardian, I must advise you retrieve the final relic to extract Ihra before fetching your pet."

 

"Did you? Apologies. I guess I didn't quite hear that. I'll be going, then."
I say, then just leave.

 

Emerald waits outside.
"What now?"

 

"I was going to. I wanted to go see him once this was all over." Artemis says happily.

"So what are we waiting for? Adventure awaits!" I say, drawing Shadow Katana and pointing it upwards.

 

"I believe you're waiting on the long-overdue reunion." Rineth says happily, glancing over at Stephanie.

 

"DON'T THINK I WON'T CATCH UP TO YOU."
Having 4 legs now, Bardock should be able to move faster. And he's bigger then the vixen, so.

 

"Amethyst continues having the tracker in her tail. It's not like the Hive Master is after her anyways."

 

He's faster, but she's more agile, weaving through trees to exploit the fact that she's smaller.
Now scared, she finally seems to be on full-survival mode... and you can see that their tail is, in fact, two.

"So, you want it removed?"

 

Stephanie rests on Praecantatia as she continues to read, looking sleepy.

"Right." I say, sheathing Shadow Katana and sitting down next to Artemis.

"You found some good blackberries for the pie, by the way." I say to Artemis, smiling.

"Thanks." Artemis responds happily.

 

"I don't care all that much, but Amethyst wants it removed."

 

"Just let me know when you're ready to go back and sit in the Ruin. I'm sure there are a few raptors who will be happy to see you... less so the Matriarch..."

 

"So she is the princess." He thinks
"GETTING CLOSER, HEHE."
(In some movies, bigger animals sometimes just bash through trees. But I don't think that would be really fair.)

 

"I mean... sure. Doesn't really matter, I guess. Go in, they'll remove it."

You can't bash through the thicker ones, but the thinner ones still slow you down.

Finally ready to show her true colors, her tails start emitting a thick smoke...
You lose her trail, and it takes a few full minutes for the smog to clear up.

 

"Why's that?" I ask.

 

"I don't think I should. I kinda got the vibe that they didn't want her in there."

 

"I believe Shadow Stephanie had her killed."

"TIME TO USE MY SENSES."
He uses his wolf nose to search for the vixen's trail.

 

"Sounds good to me. Lead the way."
