"I cant taste things anyway"

"You still seem awful fond of genocide..."


Sapphire walks in, uneasy.

 

"You told me the only village.. or settlement.. was inhabited by shapeshifters, right?"

 

"No, I said the village you saw was inhabited by shapeshifters."

 

The eggs are still in their nest, dormant. The inside of the cave is rather dark, making it harder to see.

 

"Okay"
I check the trees for fruit.

 

"Really?"
"Guess I misunderstood ." He mutters to himself.
Pause.
"Anyway... I spotted some humans last night. Are they hostile?"

 

Sapphire cloaks and waits, checking the life force of the developing youth.

"No, the only thing close to hostile is the hydra."

Most of the fruits seem to already have been torn off the trees, though you find a few that are just barely ripe.

 

"Stay here"
I trace, before flying to collect the fruits.

 

The unhatched dragons appear to be fine and healthy.

The mother dragon soon returns to the cave, walking in and sniffing the air, before growling.

 

"Peaceful island then."
Bardock's stomach growls.
"Ugh, I'm a little hungry. Do you have anything to eat or should I get something myself?"

 

"Do you like fruit? If so, what kinds?"
Sgavrinn seem more awake now, attentive.

Sapphire heads back to the mouth of the cave.
"Hello?" She calls again, uncloaking.

She does as 'told,' staying still.

 

Sapphire can hear the dragon growl again, before being hit with a massive bolt of electricity.

 

I gather a few fruits before flying back.
"Here"
I trace, handing her one.
"You know how feeding yourself works"

 

She takes it, collapsing.
"W-worth... knowing... he d-didn't hurt you..." She utters, still twitching from the residual electricity.

She just takes the fruit and crams it down her throat.

 

The dragon picks Sapphire up in it's mouth, making sure to bite into her, before it throws her out of the cave, sending Sapphire tumbling down the mountainside.

 

"I prefer meat, but fruit is fine. Juicy ones to be specific."

 

I hand her another fruit when she's done.

 

It can't bite through her armor, using the opportunity to stop feigning injury and leave.

...However a massive portal soon opens outside the cave, noise coming out of it.
"Why do you want me to peek in, again?" Xlentia asks.
Pause.
"Dragons can hold their own. I'm sure Aj really didn't mess with the eggs."
Pause.
"She's a mother. What do you expect?"
Pause.
"If you shut up about it, I'll peek in."

"Do cherries work?" Ragnyon asks.

The process repeats until you're out of fruit.

 

The mother dragon breathes a consistent, powerful blast of electricity toward the portal, enraged.

 

"Are you still hungry"
