Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Already morning? Ugh."
Bardock stands up and stretches.
"Time to wake up, Ragnyon."

 

Emerald heads outside, smiling at the pair.
"Told you it'd be alright." She says, before vanishing.

Rineth takes the time to revert, still smiling.

"Hmmm?" She moans, stirring.

 

Praecantatia watches, smiling.

"So my suspicions of you were right." Praecantatia says.

 

"Me?" Rineth asks, somewhat confused.

 

"Your ability to turn into a dragon, I thought there was something more to you." Praecantatia says.

 

"It's morning." Bardock says, yawning.

 

"All draconians are able to." Rineth nods. "Though, you are correct... I am a Voidwalker, able to open rifts and portals. We are used as transports, and I was long ago specifically assigned to guard Ihra. Ihra has since told me to go with the group whenever they will allow me... even though it's gotten me killed before."

"Mmmmnnnn... I could go for a few more hours." She complains.

 

"You are a noble dragon. Perhaps you'd like to meet some of your kind that reside here some time?" Praecantatia asks.

 

"I suppose; Emerald especially would like to take notes on my encounters." He nods.

 

"They're a rare sight here, humans have hunted them close to extinction." Praecantatia says.

"I've been helping Shadow Aj make sure that dragons aren't going extinct by checking on them and their eggs." Stephanie says to Praecantatia happily.

 

"Yeah, napping is nice."
Pause
"B-but before you do, I need to ask you something."

 

Thirteen walks up to her, sitting down.

 

"Ah, is that what Sapphire said she'd go back to double check? She said something about dragon eggs."

She gets up and crawls over.
"I give up
Im disposable
Please have them get rid of the tracker"

"Sure..." She yawns, "What is it?"

 

"I hear they make good omelettes too." I say casually.

Artemis glares at me.

"Kidding!" I say, raising my hands in the air.

 

"All right"
I trace.
"Other than that are you doing alright"
I stand up, taking her hand.

 

Rineth raises a claw, Sapphire's serpent puppet having almost silently taken a bite out of you before retreating slowly.

"Seems she still doesn't trust you all the way about that." Rineth chuckles.
"I don't..." Sapphire says out of nowhere, leaving.


She heads back to the dragon's nest, but instead of cloaking and remaining in the cave, she heads out into the mouth and decloaks.
"Hello? Anyone in here?" She asks.

"Hungry
Everything ran"

 

"Are you much for fruit"
I look up in the trees, seeing if any fruit's around.

 

"Does it fit down my throat"

 

"I can break or squish it if its too large"

 

The bite just fills back in with darkness, no harm really done.

"Because I'd like to spearhead the extinction of a mythical creature." I say, rolling my eyes.

"Shadows aren't known for preservation, much more for genocide." Praecantatia comments.

"That's racist." I say bluntly.


The cave is quiet, no creatures about, not even the mother dragon.
