Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

It walks around the lake, taking its time to see what there is to see.

 

"War doesn't give many breaks. I promise I'll be back soon, though." Sapphire says, cloaking again.

Thick flora, and plenty of small fauna.
Nothing seems hostile.

 

"Not really. I just didn't think to run into you this fast." He laughs a little.

 

"Well, my location's seldom secret when so many want a glimpse into their future."

 

Voidfiller sits at the edge of the water with its feet in, relaxing.

 

"So you can see future visions?"

 

Fia waves, before her hologram disappears.

 

"Yes. Stereotypical crystal ball and everything."

Sapphire tries to escape, having not warped back with Emerald.

The water seems to make Voidfiller forget all of its worries.

 

It's a long journey to Earth from here, though the potent magic surrounding the islands makes teleportation an easy option to almost anywhere. Optionally, Sapphire could head to the centre island to see if Praecantatia could help, though it's quite a long walk.

 

Sapphire tries to use the surrounding magic to open a portal for a puppet, jumping through if she succeeds.

 

"Interesting, but not really my thing. I like to see things for myself rather then knowing what's happen."

 

It seems to take a moment, but the portal opens and Sapphire manages to make it through to wherever it leads without difficulty.

 

"I often show my visions to those I look into. However, it does involve hemomancy, so I can't do it all day."

She heads back to the Void Palace, going back to hiding...

"Hey, you close to gathering again? I want to know in case Xlentia needs to clean out her chamber in preparation for the ritual."

 

"And what do those visions show? Love, death, great fortune or victories maybe?"

 

"I could not tell you until I look. Fate chooses a window that I may peek through, and what is inside is beyond my control. I have seen happy weddings, grisly mutilations of loved ones, implications of victory in battle, citizens captured and overworked as prisoners, and everything in between... and more."

 

"That sure is some great power. Never had any trouble with.. you know.. people trying to capture you for that power?"

 

"I would, if I could control how far into the future I see. However... as I told you, I was a prisoner in the past, not for my visions but for my blood."

 

"Why your blood? Sorry for asking, but I'm not familiar with a lot of magic."

 

"Well... my blood has strange properties that are... extremely potent when used in magic."

 

"Magical blood, huh."
