Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"No, first time. Why, should I be worried about what's to come?"

 

"I was just wondering. Many people who go there... don't expect to see what they do."

 

"That's a fair point. I actually don't have much to do now..."

 

"Well... Iruk told me about your friends. You could just up and go talk to Crystal. That'd keep your mind going for a while."

 

"...Yeah. Yeah I should. If I find nothing better to do I'll do that."

 

"If there is nothing for me to worry about, shall we go?"

 

"I'd come with, but I've lost my leeway since I've been slacking. Good luck." Legna sighs.

"I can tell you what to expect on the way. Now, it'd be nice if you made a little haste, since waiting on the beach hurts."

 

"Alright, thanks."
Voidfiller turns to Iruk.
"What're you going to do?"

 

"Yeah, yeah coming."
I climb on the Leviathan's back.
"Ready."

 

"Probably look for Thirteen." He shrugs.

It starts swimming out into the open ocean.
"Well, I guess the first thing you should know is that magic is much more common on the island than your homeland. Sure, the centaur and kitsune know magic, but nearly everyone on the island does."

 

"A'ight. See you around."
Voidfiller walks off towards the exit it entered through.

 

Iruk waves, opting not to follow Voidfiller out.

The guards seem to already have the way out open.

 

Voidfiller exits, then starts flying back towards the portal.

 

He encounters no other wildlife; the only other thing even visible on his path back is a sleeping dragon chained to an island floating on the magma.

 

Voidfiller doesn't pay it any mind, continuing to fly.

 

Once back in the portal room, there's still nobody to bother him. However, it can hear some commotion in the bunk room... even though it's halfway down the hall.

 

Voidfiller slinks down the hall, peeking in to check on the commotion.

 

"Oh really? Hmm... maybe I can pick up a few tricks."

 

There seems to be a party in the bunk room, the occasional draconian bursting into flames... and laughter.

"Second thing, there's a swamp where a hydra lives. He's... fairly aggressive, so I'd steer clear from his territory if I were you. On top of that, mind your manners if you go travel in the mountains. They aren't territorial like the ones on the mainland, but there's several hundred dragons living in the mountain range."

 

Voidfiller just continues to walk down the hall, looking into any opening it comes across.
