Bardock
"What happened? Looks like someone created a fire."
I look at Keela's fur.

 

Her face and front-right paw are singed.
"We... made a mistake. A young vixen walked through our territory, and we intended to teach her a lesson. It... turns out she's a half-kitsune runaway princess who knows how to use fire magic."

 

Bardock
"Hihi, well that's unexpected. Better look out next time. But I'll be sure to keep a look out at this vixen, just incase."
I pet Keela a bit.
"But.. I'm leaving the forest for a few days. I'm thinking of going towards that mysterious island and don't know how long I'll stay."

 

"I think our morale was hurt more than any of us by that, but I'm just hoping she doesn't trespass again."
Pause.
"The... island? Is that what the sea serpent is bringing people to?"

 

Bardock
"I've never really took a trip on the serpent, so I wouldn't know. But recently there have been more trips going in the southeast direction."

"I don't think any of us have. Let us know what you find on the island down there, and promise you'll return to us safely."

 

Bardock
"I will and don't worry. Take care of each other while I'm gone, 'kay?"
I pet Keela on her head and stand up, ready to leave.

 

She nods.
"I'll make sure of it. Good luck."

 

I gather some resources and head towards the Leviathan.

 

"She managed to keep me talking. I told her some stories."

 

With some basic materials and a bit of food, you head off to the shore...

Upon arrival, the colossal sea serpent seems to be waiting for you.
"Oh, just you? That's strange..." It mutters.

"Oh, right. That's the other thing she does. If she thinks you're a listener, she makes you talk. If she thinks you're a talker, she makes you listen. It's frustrating."

 

"Why would that be? Expected it to be busier?"

 

"Yes. It's been weeks since I only carried one person at a time, going either direction."

 

"Shall we go then, before it gets busier?"

 

"I would prefer to wait, since I can only make so many trips each day, but..."
Pause.
"I don't see anyone else coming to the shore, so if you're ready now, I will take you across."

 

"I would appreciate it if you would."

 

Voidfiller shrugs.
"I didn't mind."

 

It beaches itself partially, lowering itself to become slightly easier to climb onto.
"Have you been there before?"

"You must've been really bored, then." Legna mumbles. "I hate it when she calls me in."

 

"It was kinda fun talking to her, actually."

 

"Well, you're bored most of the time anyways. I guess it's a good way to kill time."
