Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Where can I find them?" Praecantatia asks, a slight hint of excitement in her voice.


"Apologies. I'm struggling to understand in the first place, however." Caelia states.

 

"Center of town, top of the Spire.


"I'm doing my best to speak in normal mortal logic. So... whaddaya say? Not needing to exist is fun."

 

"Ok, thanks!" Praecantatia says happily, taking her candies and leaving.


"Having someone to control is a nice thought, however there is an aspect of serenity in solitude." Caelia states, uncertain.

 

Voidfiller just follows Legna.

 

The door's locked.
"Uh, miss? You forgot to pay."


"Hehee, oh I should totally take you in! You think I wanted to become your servant? Well... that might be fun, too."

Draconian guards open a hole in the barrier, Legna dropping off the supplies as she disappears.

Iruk heads over to a staircase leading up.
"The market's up here. Maybe you'd like to buy some of their crafts here."

 

"Maybe I would."
It says, going up the stairs.

 

"Oh, did I? I was certain I did." Praecantatia says, confused, summoning another pouch of gold.


"I am a slave to only myself." Caelia states bluntly.

 

The cashier points to the pouch sitting on the counter, measuring out the twenty grams and handing it back.


"Slave? I don't need anything. It'd just be neat to be able to call a god my servant."

"Mostly figurine carvings and such. Not much else."

 

"Nothing wrong with that."

 

"We trade those for things we need to... well, get by. Kind of strange such trivial trinkets can get us so much." He says, continuing up.

 

"Oh, is that not enough?" Praecantatia asks, concerned.


"I wish you luck in finding one willing enough to allow you to call them that then." Caelia states, a slight hint of anger in her voice.

 

Voidfiller doesn't say anything, it just continues up as well.

 

"No, that's more than enough."


"Eh, I have all of eternity, going both ways in time. No rush."

At the top, eight market stalls sell robes and other little collectible things. Aside from the robes, nothing practically useful.

 

Voidfiller heads over to one of the stalls not selling robes, looking over the contents.

 

Wooden carvings of dragons, gryphons, pegasi, and other mythical creatures. All of them are extremely detailed, individual feathers and scales carved.

 

"Oh, then can I leave now?" Praecantatia asks innocently.


"Some gods in this reality may be more submissive than my own." Caelia states.

 

"Yes, my apologies for the holdup. I didn't see the bag at first."


"Oh, no, I don't want submission. What good servant ever begs for their position? Still, it's a shame we don't see eye to eye... though I guess I don't have a physical body."

 

"It's fine. I understand you don't want thieves." Praecantatia says happily before taking her leave.


Caelia seems unamused.

 

It continues to look at the stands, interested.

 

The cashier waves, a harpy gliding low along the main path outside.


"Oh, come on. Don't be down, you're the goddess of space! I'll leave you alone, I just wanted a nice conversation." Xiza says, her presence overwhelming before vanishing.
