I draw my sword. "I am, demon."

 

"Demon? Little Ihra wouldn't appreciate being called a demon."
You feel a gust of wind behind you.
"Now, what do you have for me?"
You see their claw on the trigger.

 

"Yes, she seems to be nice when she thinks you aren't in danger from anyone."

 

"Not the times I was thinking of, but it'll do... Where'd she... oh well. Haven't found too many problems yet..."
She continues towards Brisingr, her 'pet' trailing her at a distance.

 

I continue to follow her into Brisingr.
"So what do you want to see or do in Brisingr?"

 

"I'm bored and mean things are in the forest. What's Brisingr?" She stops and turns to give you a puzzled look.

 

"Brisingr is the name of the place you're heading towards."

 

OCC: Have wot

"I wish not to fight. If we must come to blows, perhaps you could first share your name?"

 

"Okay... Does mother know?"

"Greedy, aren't you? I like that... Name's Nyre. Few ask anything of me." He lowers his crossbow and pulls out a deep blue crystal.

 

I sheathe my sword "What's that?"

 

"You'll find out about..."
An aura pulsates from the crystal. Vei appears near you, blades drawn and tomes glowing and spinning to form a white ring behind her.
"...now. I had a feeling you weren't alone."
"This is not your world."
"I could say the same."
"You know why we're here, don't be ignorant."
"Never were one for thought, were you? If Vesius won't die on his own, we'll speed up the process."
"You going to let me proc?"
"Not here, not now. I've made my name known. Don't even try to sneak around here."
Nyre jumps and is long gone before you can react, leaving short-lived green streaks of light behind him. The crystal levitates and cloaks.
"...Blast."
Vei's tomes stop spinning.

 

"Yes, I told her."

 

"If she wanted me gone, then she was asking about ways for me to die. How many were there?"

 

"Your mother?"

 

"Yes, she says I can't listen to some of the things she talks about or I'll get myself killed. Something about saving me from myself, but I don't think I'm too weak..."

 

"Well, there are plenty of dangerous things. From what I've seen, both you and the other Draconians seem to be quite powerful, and power always comes with dangers... and you sometimes make mistakes."

 

She looks at you puzzled, oblivious to her original question.
"What's a mistake?"

 

"Ugh..." I turn to Vei. "Why are the other draconians after Vesius?"

"His predecessor. It's... longer than I have. Forgive me for turning the questions again, but would you be the goddess of these lands?"
