Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

The only thing that stumbles across it is a deer, that doesn't actually seem to notice it.

 

It hides carefully, stalking the deer.

 

It still doesn't notice it, nor does it notice the dart in the back of its neck.

 

The thing does a quick check for anyone else hiding.

 

There's five other sets of eyes watching.

 

The thing moves a bit, trying to get a better look at the watchers.

 

The watchers shift as well, always staying one step ahead as the deer flees.

 

Prepared, the thing stands up, staring them down.

 

Only one shows itself, the others still cloaked.
"Yes, outsider?"

 

"You put the dart in its neck?"

 

"I personally did not."

 

"Did one of the people in your posse do it?"

 

"No, I believe it was the previous group."

 

"Strange, you'd think those things are fast-acting."

 

"They are, uninjured."

 

"Ah. Well for your troubles..."
The thing takes out a large slab of meat wrapped in what looks to be plastic, offering it.
"If ya want it. I'm gonna continue hunting."

 

I teleport high into the air, stopping my blast of water in the process. A spike shoots out of the ground and impales his left leg.

 

"Oh, um, it's fine. I've sort of faced a bit of racism myself, so I can understand." Holly says.


"No, that's always been Celeste's sort of thing." Gaia says happily.

 

"We're not here to hunt. Keep the gift." They say.

He blocks it with your scythe, now trying to play a game of attrition.

"I'm sorry to hear that." Alice says.


"Maybe she'd like to visit my home sometime? There's still plenty there." Xlentia says, looking around at the land and water she soars over.

 

"It's because I'm a hybrid, some guardians think I'm 'Unpure' because I chose to follow both my elements instead of focusing on just one." Holly explains sadly.


"Sure! I could arrange another trip with her and the other gods!" Gaia says happily.
